I kinda think the special will indeed be Cross Epoch. That’s what I’m hopin atleast
I hope Dragon Ball movie will have enough CGI to cover up all the shitty acting.
For me, the Saiyan Saga was the greatest because that is when I got into it. I remember the first time seeing it on TV when I was like 12 and thinking “This is the absolute coolest thing I have ever seen! I want to watch this every chance I get!” The Freiza Saga was pretty good too, except a little to dragged out in that final fight.
I still haven’t seen the Cell Saga from beggining to end, but I don’t really have a desire too. It was kind of cool, but really just seemed like you couldn’t tell who was stronger then who anymore. Akira Toriyama himself said that he started making super Saiyan’s hair yellow so that you could actually see a change in the character when they got stronger (And to save on inking in the manga).
Boo was entertaining, but a little to crazy. It seems like they were trying to get back to there magic-storyline roots from Dragonball. The Dragonball Z stuff in this comic about sums it up.
I liked the magic part in Dragonball, and the training.
When they get back to the city it gets boring for me.
Also less Turtle Hermit = fail.
I think you should watch the whole Cell part. Future Trunks is awesome. None of that GT weakling.
Hmm the only image I’ve seen of Piccolo in the movie is his outfit, were there any leaked images of his face?
It’s sad that cool characters like Piccolo, Alt. Future Trunks, Vegeta and Tien all got shafted despite having such great potential.
Worse yet is how Master Roshi doesn’t do shit in DBZ 
Oh and Tao Pai Pai’s among the most badass Dragonball series villain EVER.

So the Movie is going to be Dragonball and not DBZ? Well at least it will have more of a story, if not more insane over the top action (which is what I wanted).

Please tell me that isn’t true! So the first 20-30 minutes will be about Goku getting bullied and crying, then Roshi comes in and tells him he has this great potential, then Goku loses it, either when he’s being bullied again, or when he has to save someone, unlocks his hidden powers, then a bad guy conveniently shows up, Goku saves the world and everyone thinks he’s super awesome now and they all dance in the city square and sing a song?!
I knew I had to prepare myself for an unbelievable suckfest, but this is just too much.
I find it odd that you’re favorite tribute is just momentum to his failure.
I mean, it fits, but that just makes it seem like you’re utterly depressed about his character and not much of a fan (despite Linkin Park trying to hard to rock your socks off).

Honestly I want to see the movie, but only the action parts. I want to see how well they do it. The story is fucked already, we know that. But the action still may be sick.
