Is there a Dragon Ball Z thread? If not

Are you counting the Bardock and Trunks tv specials as movies?

Now that you mention it, could ya also hook me up with ā€˜Blue Wind of Hope’ and whatever played at the end of the Bardock special?

Also do you have a gamerip of the Planet Namek song from DBZ Legends?(or what I should say is the song that plays when you fight Freeza on Namek.)

Not to be a nitpicker, Rhio, but you forgot Kisseki no Big Fight (the Movie 10 ending music).

Whoops! Good looking out.

Much obliged, my good man!

How about them Android Saga plot holes, huh?

Thanks to the dynamic duo of Terry Klassen and Christopher Neel, Tao Pie-Pie was supposedly a general in the Red Ribbon Army and Dr. Gero was the mastermind of the whole thing! Oh, and Bulma knew Goku ever since he was five.

Sure, those mistakes didn’t carry over to the Dragon Ball (Klassen and Neel were long gone by then), but what’s done is, unfortunately, done.

I can tolerate the DBZ dub, but when they make stupid-ass mistakes like that when writing the script, I get rather annoyed. I’m just glad that they treat their other anime licenses with more respect now, because I believe they’ll do a great job with One Piece.

Well, shit… ANY company would do, as long as it’s not 4Kids!

I still believe they’ll screw it up somehow. Everyone seems to try to kid-ify One Piece. Even the japanese-made fighting games are super-deformed (which is why I’ll never play them).

wat pot holes:lol:
I actaully didn’t notice any big ones in the cell/andriod saga so wat r some :bgrin:

-SSJ2 Gohan killed 8 Cell Jr.s…Cell only shat 7 of them (1 for each remaining Z Fighter - Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Piccolo, Goku, Trunks and Vegeta)

-Cell gets entire upper torso blowed da fok up by Goku, but comes back to life. When Cell self-destructed and came back to life (again) later, he mentioned that as long as one cell in his head exists, he becomes immortal, therefore refuting the former argument.

Ted Cole was a great voice actor for Yamcha, but he sucked ass as #17 in the Ocean dub of later episodes.

Anyway, regarding the videogames…

I can’t believe it took them so long to make DBZ games that don’t totally suck! However, it seemed as if Webfoot Technologies were hellbent on perpetuate that fact when they made the first ā€˜Legacy of Goku’ game and that disgraceful fighting game, ā€˜Taiketsu’!

Heh, Frieza caresses his balls… It’s even MORE inappropriate the more you think about it!!

 I though he spat out 8 one for each fighter and 2 for one of them (goku or Vegeta or Trunks) but I could be wrong b/c I haven’t seen that episode/s in a while or maybe he spat one off camera  .

As for the cell thing that made sense to me b/c he originally came from a single cell that had all of the warriors in it and he does have piccolo’s cells so that made sense to me that he could regenerate most of his body at a much faster rate after he absorbed 17 and 18. So you basically had to destroy all of his cells so when Goku destroyed his upper torso he still had enough cell and energy to regenerate himself so he wasn’t dead then and Goku also knew this too b/c he knew it wasn’t over.

As far as cell saying he’s immortal that’s just basically him smack talking like freeza or vegeta would do although it’s not really true.

:bgrin: Although I gotta say the Buu Saga definitely had some plot holes and GT big time.

GT sucks massive goat balls but is A Hero’s Legacy worth checking out? They have it at my fye store for $7.99.

Toriyama actually created that plot hole about Cell needing to have all of his Cells destroyed, and then saying as long as the core remains in his head, he’ll survive. Same thing is said in the manga.

<—Goku’s been through a hell of a lot of voice changes.

Hell no.

Goku Jr. is one annoying beeyotch.

 I’m not fully understanding how cell needing all his cells (or his mayne cell) destroyed when he’s made from a single cell (that have other people’s in it) is a plot hole but it’s all good :bgrin: I thought they explain it before that happened but if I’m wrong O well. :razzy:

but as far as the buu saga goes I really don’t understand how buu goes from fat to a skinny brown one that eats him then looks more normal (Super buu) then they take the fat buu out and then he turns into Kid Buu :wtf: that to me made no sense.

fat + skinny = normal/super
normal/super - fat = kid?

 that just doesn’t add or minus right
