i think the intro of krillin and the training of goku and krillin at roshi is the best part of DB for me…krillin is such a trickster and smart and DBZ lack that part of him thats why i think DB is better than DBZ…
I just wish Picc was more of a badass in DBZ, yeah he had that fight, but he should have been one of the best.

I have very mixed feelings about that game. The concept is brilliant and it plays great in 1P mode, but the ultimate strength of a fighting game is judged by its competitive gameplay… and the 2P mode in that game was shit.
Hey, Rhio2k, do you have Unmei no Hi: Tamashii tai Tamashii and… uh… forget the title, but it’s the insert song when Future Trunks has a flashback sequence, and it’s another song with a really good vocal by Hironobu Kageyama.
Yeah, well, I never really looked at it as a fighting game tbh, more like an action/rpg.
Dragonball Z is the greatest anime of all time IMO. There will be nothing like it, ever. There will always be imitators, but they won’t come anywhere near the epicness of DBZ.
Anyway, the best fight to was the Goku and Vegeta the first time. It had the best and most famous beam battle. Vegeta was beastly before he took a backseat to Goku.
Yes and can you get any lyrics for the flashback? I missed the ep where Mirai Trunks went “Ultra” Saiyajin, if that’s the part you mean, so I don’t know what song was used.

Okay, I just looked into it, and the title I found is “Mind Power: Energy.” I’m pretty sure I remember the title being “Ki… Mind Power,” so it could be under that name as well.

I always enjoyed Piccolo vs. Frieza fight just cause Frieza owned the majority of the nameks and here we have Piccolo just giving it to Frieza. Granted it was short lived once Frieza transformed but it was good.
Since we’re talking about songs, I found these rather interesting though probably noncanonical “power level” videos on Youtube yesterday.
(By the way, the Freiza and Cell sagas have the same music, but I’m not so sure about the Buu Saga videos that I haven’t watched yet.)
