 you know I read it all and it still doesnāt make full sense. I knew about this info before but no matter how hard I try it doesnāt make sense. you pretty much have to use the terminator 3 excuse of āit just happensā and leave the explanation and reasoning out the window
as badly drawn out as DBZ was by the time it got to buu saga, i have to admit kid buu was one of my all time favorite characters. all business and no bullshit, he comes back to being and whats the first thing he does? blows up earth. no dialogue, no buildup, just ggpo earth, kid buu accomplishes what every enemy has tried to do for 350+ episodes
Hereās a little bit of triviaā¦
According to Trunks, the Androids appeared on May 12th. However, when you watch Terminator 1 again, notice that Kyle Reese was sent back to May 12th, 1984.
Coincidence? I think not. Especially, when you think about Trunksās filler flashback, which featured him walking through a rundown building, occupied by crying women and children, as well as men sporting Capsule Corp. jackets and swords. Can you say āhuman resistance base sceneā? It even ends with #17 and #18 barging in and shooting up the place!
Well, #17 only fired off a single shot from a handgun, but you get the idea.
Anyway, my point is that Terminator was obviously a big influence on Toriyama when creating the Androids Saga.
LMFAO @ the Unknown voiceā¦oh godā¦oh manā¦iām dyingā¦pleaseā¦oh godā¦lmfaoā¦
Oh I love Kid Buu. One of my fav DBZ villians right after Cell. In a way, Kid Buu is like Kefka. How many villians in Final Fantasy have tried to destroy/take over the world and fail. Kefka actually succeeded in destroying the world. Kid Buu succeeded in blowing up the planet.
T2 influenced Toriyama-San for the Android Saga? Cool beans.:lovin: I love that saga.
More like T1 influenced the Androids Saga.
I prefer Super Buu to Kid Buu.
Kid Buu was a savage that killed everything in his path, Super Buu was the first one to basically come to Kamiās look out, then while bored eliminated most of the worldās population, like he was playing Duck hunt without the damn dog.
 well thatās a good wait no great movie to take ideas from so Iām not bothered at all if he did take the idea from it
as for Kid Buu although it makes no sense how you get Kid Buu from super buu but thinnking back on it that part of the saga was cool b/c it was straight to the point but it took way to long to get to something like that. I do like the fact that vegeta couldnāt beat him but kept coming at him like a savage. But wat I donāt like is Goku beating him w/ the spirit bomb b/c by that time I just got tired of him using that on just about every major villain b/c by then it was just played out and it takes way too long to do.
thatās another reason why I like the android/cell saga better b/c goku doesnāt beat cell or finishes him off, heck I donāt think Goku beat anybody for that whole season  giving others like piccolo and tein and gohan and others a chance to shine
I loved GT, but more so the latter half when the fighting kicked in. SSJ4 design > Yellow haired variations of the same shit for SSJ1-3.
Also, them Dragons were awesome.
:lol:so watās the next DBZ game to come out? and when does it come out?
My fav saga could be the Android/Cell Saga. Goku was outta of action for a while so we got to see some other characters shine like Piccolo beasting on first stage Cell, the AWESOME Piccolo vs. 17 fight (which should be airing on Toonami very soon) and Tien held off 2nd stage Cell so 16 and 18 could escape. And then youāve got Gohan in SS2 form beating the crap out of the Cell Jrs. without even trying.
Speaking of Gohan in SS2 form, I know Goku coached Gohan with his Kamehameha beam battle with Cell. Now it normally takes two hands to do the Kamehameha Wave but Gohan did it with one hand. Iāve been wondering, did Goku actually help him shoot off the beam or was he merely there in spirit for support? Either way, that scene was freaking dope.
My fav DBZ movies:
History of Trunks: This movie really does a great job of showing just how messed up Trunksā future really was. And one handed Gohan was a beast. That last fight he had against 17 & 18 was awesome. In vol. 17 of the DBZ manga (which as someone already state, is where this movie originated), Trunks was already a Super Saiyan. I thought it was better in the movie that it took the sight of Gohanās lifeless body to awaken Trunksā Super Saiyan powers.
Broly: Legendary Super Saiyan: Starts off slow but it picks up when Broly goes insane. 4 Super Saiyans and a Super Namek couldnāt handle him. That scene where Broly is charging and kicks Piccolo aside like a beach ball is drop. And I canāt forget when he took Gokuās Kamehameha at point blank range was like āThe eff was that?ā
Bojack Unbound: Bojack and his crew were RUTHLESS!! They have no sense of honor and will easily gang up on Gohan and his friends. I actually think this is my fav movie. Gohan going SS2 and easily offing two of Bojackās flunkies was awesome.
I think it was a more spirit thing.
Yeah, those movies are great, especially the Bojack movie! The fight between Tien and Trunks was pretty awesome and Reggieās rightā¦ Bojack and his crew were fuckinā hardcore! Since the movie takes place sometime after the Cell Games, the movie couldāve been considered canon, if not for one thing: How in the hell did Bojack know about Goku?! Unless he could hear Gohan communicating with him from Other World, Iād chalk that up as sloppy writing.
I was glad to see the movie on DVD, because the fansubbed version I DLāed from Kazaa a long time ago, while decent, was apparently lacking in visual quality. What I mean is that I never noticed when Gohan and Bojack rushed each other down through the explosion caused by their final blasts. Makes sense, because I always wondered how Bojack wound up behind Gohan when he died.
Worldās Strongest is another one of my absolute favorite DBZ movies. I would like Tree Of Might better, if not for the fact that the Z-Fighters were USELESS in the movie. Even Piccolo got fuckinā jobbed in that movie! Turles blasted his ass THREE separate times! Lord Slug was good, becauseā¦
-Goku gets the piss stomped out of him
-It was cool seeing him ransform into a proto-Super Saiyan
-proto-SS wears off and he gets stomped some more
-Piccolo saves the day
Iāve never seen Worldās Stronest or Tree of Might. Gotta check those out.
Lord Slug was DOPE!! I hear some fans didnāt like it. After seeing it, I donāt know why they were complaining. Everyone got some time in the spot light. Goku & Krillin using Kamehamehas, Piccolo totally owning one of Lord Slugās goons (even broke his arm), Gohan own some guards, and Gokuā¦ well does what he always does.
Super Android 13 was another good DBZ movie.
Lord Slug fight ending also had a little homage to the end of the 1st Piccolo fight in DB which was cool. Definitely my favorite DBZ movie, but Iāve only seen like 3 of them, and Piccolo is my favorite character.
DBZ: Budakai Tenkaichi 3 or DBZ: Sparking Meteor. Donāt know when, but probably on PS2 and Wii.
anyone ever play dbz hyper dimension? that was one of the best fighters ive played, even though im sure that game is broken as hell.
hyper dimensionās good.
edit: haha, I found a quick for Goku. Not rly a Goku player (prefer Vegetto/Gohan), but this isnāt bad imo~
