If everyone had your attitude 3rd Strike would be dead, it’s true that i first played opponents on GGPO but it was only a month or so after that i first entered a 3rd Strike tournament in Cardiff, we kept our faith and spread the word of 3s, i started holding casual sessions in my house and pretty soon the local tournaments got bigger and more regular (one time i remember entering 4 local 3rd Strike tournaments in 1 month!) now we have weekly 3rd Strike sessions in a venue and bigger tournaments every month or so. OK so it’s not the same as living in Japan, but at least we are doing something instead of going on the SRK forums complaining about playing online, saying VF is better and saying the offline scene in the UK is totally dead i mean really? what good is that doing anyone?
Also FYI last weeks tournament was really sick and the fact that you don’t know anything about it or the people that entered proves that you just shut the fuck up about 3rd Strike in Europe

In a sense, yes, but when you’ve been a fan of this game as long as I have, moaning about it on the internet after what they did to it (Online Edition - nice troll!) is wholly legitimate. When you fall out with people who own you hard on camera (bonjour ami), and the ranbats dry up again, you’ll be back here with the rest of us grouching and growling for a decent online version full of comp, which doesn’t encourage spammers and weirdos like duck and that guy who just leaves his console on 24/7.

The conversion is screwed dude. Early KO, rollbacks, bizarre artwork tweaks, the well documented lists on here are endless. If you have access to the legit CPSIII hardware at your gatherings, you would know this.
VF5FS doesn’t give me any of this nonsense. IG took Third Strike, and treated it like a KOF game.
