Are you near the NY area? I’ll play you if you are and you have PSN. The game is foreign in many ways to Capcom vets, but if you stop thinking a “heavy” is always “Heavy”… then it’s easier. I think of it as Punch 1 and Punch 2, same as kicks. It made it easier also when I got out of the LP/HP mentality and went to AC for punches and BD for kicks.
I have always played KOF since the 90’s but after the serious problems that SNK faced in this decade i was pretty dedicated to SFIV but i was always playing XI and 2002UM with my friends offline so i didn’t have so many problems with the execution, i can land everything in this game except some inputs like DF+A into HBC x 2, you can master some shortcuts to make your life easier in this game.
That input is easy…
HCB, d/f+A, b+ATTACK, golden.
Yeah i tried that but it is more easy to do with a joystick, im playing with my PS3 pad because my joystick no longer works :sad:

Another way that I found that input works is this, and it will work on pad, because I used to do it on the DC pad with the analog stick…
tap forward, neutral, then spin the stick starting from forward twice. On the second rotation, hit A when you hit forward and if you’re spinning fast enough, you’ll get the d/f+A, and then just hit the other attack at the end of the spin. Unfortunately, that method requires you to buff the inputs into a run, so it’s less useful.

Yeah i was thinking about it because i noticed it when i finally landed the combo twice, the sad thing is that i really like grapplers in KOF, yes, you can combo the supers with more easy inputs with almost the same damage (like D(HK) into HCB x 2 with clark for example) but i would like to master all the inputs in this game, one of the things that i always liked in SNK games is the challenge
