I think he still plays. Saw him in the MLG KOF chat and he was on the roster at one of them (assuming it was him and not just someone using the name)
He isn’t playing as much as he did, instead he is organizing tournaments/ranbats in all of South America and Morocco.
DG is also recruiting KOF talent across several continents. He makes them run trials in order to qualify for sponsorship. Mexican veteran Luis Cha is one of his recruits and did pretty well at MLG.

Fubarduck said one of the Japanese players is a spoof. Some English speaker probably trolling. I believe it’s “Daiki Matsubara” since he mentioned the guy’s english was too good for a random japanese guy and that’s an anime character Kusoru was talking about on twitter a lot.
