Man, I was going to post that article yesterday. The revenue share is getting high, and I guess theaters just don’t want to push back. This is a sign that eventually, movies will be released at home, on demand. More profit for the studio per release. Can you imagine, paying $20 to watch the movie at home. I have a pretty solid sound system at the crib so I wouldn’t mind it so.
Based on a lot of their most recent moves, I can’t help but think that someone at Disney is actually Scrooge McDuck’s rival, Flintheart Glomgold, in disguise.
rubs chin thinks about scene where Cheadle says re-inforcements are his job Pictures Psylocke running up on screen Laughs ass off as IM lands infinite on bad guy, and finishes it with Proton Cannon super
Beyond spoilers though, the real question that you should be able to answer…did you like? Think it was good?
-:bluu:
Most important question to be answered in this thread. So far, the reviews are saying that this is the best of the series. IMO, it’s gonna be hard to top the first movie, but it can be done.
Currently at 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. So at least critics think it was solid, that’s good right LOL
The Rotten Tomato rating is indeed pretty accurate. Personally, I loved it, am rewatching 1, 2 and the Avengers right now, then will be seeing again tonight in 3D (I don’t normally watch 3D the first time round).
There is a definite argument to be made calling the best of the series.
Well as long as they don’t spend too much time on the Pepper/Stark relationship which I thought was a big mistake to make them a couple in the first place.
I definitely preferred the semi-antagonistic, platonic relationship from the first movie, but even Iron man can’t pass the ol’ Bechdel Test
I’ve sort of been in that camp, they played IM1 & 2with the entent of sequel(s), so it was kind of weird for him to get the girl so early. Now I’m not complaining as the angle so far has played out well - the two had minimal screen tie in Avengers, yet they worked SO well together. But it wasn’t something I expected so soon…or even period. It does make me hope that Starks & Rhodes spend more screen time together…all of the moments in Phase 1 where Tony shines - its based off playing off someone else.
Oh well that’s surprising. I thought that would the only thing they would talk about.
I just thought it seemed so forced when they got together. I think Rhodes summed it up best when he compared their first kiss to a couple of seals fighting over a grape.
The movie is better than IM by a little margin and IM2 by a long margin, you will laugh a lot because Tony, you will worry a lot because Tony.
Some thoughts. CAREFUL SPOILERS: PLEASE DO NOT OPEN UNTIL YOU WATCHED THE MOVIE, IM DEAD SERIOUS.

LAST CHANCE BACK OUT.
Spoiler
-I liked this new turn in The Mandarin that never existed and it was just portrayed by an “actor”, this will make some Marvel SMarks eat their words.
-Pepper with her ‘new powers’ thanks to the extremis might lead to the Rescue Suit. This will be interesting.
-BRUCE BANNER POST-CREDITS SCENE, OMFG!.. Also a very LMAO scene with Tony, but it was obvious that he would make a cameo because He and Tony are BFFs.
-Those Kid and Tony scenes were gold material. Seriously.
