iPhone/iPod Touch gaming

Gamevil stuff is top notch. No doubt there.

I fucking hate it when I buy a new game and leave for work, forgetting to sync my device and install the game.
I just paid $7.99 for the new Inotia RPG which looks amazing. Damn it I wanna play!

Just bought Canabalt there for the fact that it’s so fucking addicting. I know you can play it free on the internet but I feel like it deserved it’s own little window on my iPhone. Also got Dungeon Hunter.

Are there any free games or at least other relatively cheap ones that you would recommend as a must to get?

Edit: Just noticed Peggle was there for 1.99. Had to buy.

Thank you to whoever took the Michael Jackson reference seriously and neg repped me…I don’t care about the actual points themselves, I just think it’s funny when I get the most retarded reasons for losing it…“taking shots at a dead guy ” and then not be man enough to say who you are…thanks for not noticing my “Sarcasm FTW” and for not having the balls to admit to it…Valaris I’m sorry for putting this in your thread (because it’s a service to the iphone/ipod users on SRK) but people need to be pointed out for lack of a sarcastic bone in their body…

Val, you didn’t have to…but thank you…

Seed 1 from Chillingo and Chronicles of Inotia 2 from Com2US were both released earlier this week.
Seed is $2.99 and Inotia 2 is $7.99. I highly recommend both RPG’s.

Super KO Boxin 2: Massive rip off of Punch Out but, like PO, fucking amazingly fun.
Duke Nukem 3D: One of my all time favourite games. Pretty annoying in the controls department but still half decent.

Now that I know Earthworm Jim is available I’m going to buy it and lock myself in a room. Good day.

 Super KO Boxing 2 is indeed a massive knock off but damn was it a good game.

Right now I’m playing through Chronicles of Inotia 2.

I also just counted how many games I have: 105. Jesus.

But I have to admit the stereotypes are up to date and newer…lol…

105?! Holyshit! You must be the richest dude on SRK! I don’t think I can afford all those. I wonder if they’re categorized by genre haha.

my ipod touch can’t hold a charge anymore. it dies after just four hours of being idle.

if i buy a new one, will my games and apps be transferred to the new one if i sync it?

A lot of these are $0.99 games.

Yes you can transfer all of them but you will lose all your save files.

So I took a look at that KiraKira game… holy hell, it’s 971mbs.

Is that game even worth playing? Lol.

Can I just say that while Pac Man CE is ‘solid’ it’s just another case of a game really really really designed for digital control failing on a touch screen. It’s not unplayable but I went back to my XBLA copy and it just makes me sad. Plus, Namco is stupid for breaking up the game they way they did. I mean that is just low.

All of Konami’s games are .99 again.

Oh look, a fun .99 game that reminds you of the addiction that peggle causes. Arachnadoodle.

Why did *Metal Gear Solid 4 *feel like Time Crisis here?

I’m going to recommend it again: Chronicles of Inotia 2. I know it’s $7.99 but it’s worth every goddamn penny. Quality RPG right there.

A.D.D. - (Another Dumb Distraction) I played the demo for it and was attached, but it was only 10 “channels”…the app store withheld the game for some risque stuff, but now that the 18+ has been added, it’s now in the store…the point of the game is to complete what’s going on…the easiest way I can explain it is The Impossible Quiz without the annoying multiple choice…worth playing if you’re into funny randomness…

Where’s Waldo - If you remember the game in the 90s, I need to say no more…

Anyone have any first-hand-experience with any iPhone jrpgs? I wouldn’t mind having one for boring ass meetings at work and what not. I’ve read some reviews but would rather trust the gamers on this site before I believe a random blogpost.
