I thought the 3d KoF was kind of cool back in the day. It’ll be interesting to see what everyone brings to the table.

This create a character feature in SC5 is pretty awesome. Played a guy online this morning that was completely naked, and had a 2 foot long furry dong with clean shaved balls. I laughed the whole time i beat his ass.
If you take that first sentence out, the rest of it is pretty damn weird man.

No new teams, but still some good competition. Props to people for answering my call and trying harder to lame out my team. And I truly mean that. Was barely able to reset Olli in GF and got beat 3-1 in the second set. Between that and a good set of casuals the other night, I’m liking how much Olli and Alex are learning how to keep Cap and Thor out and making me earn that hit on Zero or Viper. Keep that up.

Guhhhh, busting my ass trying to get better at UMVC3 and SC5. I now understand the importance of a stick. Diagonal movement is the bane of my existence. I was thinking about building my own. Any suggestions, comments?
Anyone know if Hitbox registers diagonals the same as a proper stick? Just wonder how the DP motion will work.
Building your own stick isn’t too bad as long as you already know how to do basic soldering and woodworking. If you do end up going that route, let me know and I can give you some tips to help you end up with something you are happy with.

Imo timewise and unless you have all the workshop equipment it’s cheaper/faster to get a stick that’s already on the market.
If you want, I can always chat with Tyson (Kingfan) to see if he can build you one since he lives in town and all.
And Hitbox is busted in all ways possible… but really hard to play on so I suppose it’s fair, lol.

I like the idea of building my own. I’ve seen all sorts of helpful sites. Wont need to solder with the Cthulhu. I’ll probably make a custom hitbox style controller because I used to game on nothing but a keyboard. Suits me.

Name, we are doing weeklies in Des Moines minus the weeks when an event we are traveling for takes place. I’d invite more people to come but since I’m hosting in my apt I really don’t have any room for more people.
Also, since we stayed so much later playing casuals anyways, I may opt to put everything on one setup so that every match can be recorded, we weren’t that far off anyways, and the matches are running quite a bit faster than I initially anticipated.
