Iowa: Maize of Defeat

Sorry but I refuse to support absolutely anything cross assault related, otherwise I would.

I respect that haha. I just want to go to Cali and win that money :D.

We’ll see how “into it” I get. SC5 is totally new to me. The play style is very different. Need about a month to get settled.

That’s why you come over for sessions. Crash-course testing is the ONLY way to test.

Posted in the CR monthly thread, but just to make sure everyone knows:

BATTLEZONE MOVED A COUPLE MONTHS AGO.

New address: 4333 Czech Lane B5, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402

Also posted in there that KOF will be run and I’ll run it myself if no one else steps up. 'sup to Scott if he wants to add it as a “main” game, but no matter what it’ll be run. So, like I said, support it. No one wants the game to end up like BlazBlue or Arcana Heart 3 where HNNNNG DIS GAME SO GOOD BUT I CAN’T LEAVE MAI ANIME PILLOW WAIFU TO GO TO A TOURNAMENT AND SUPPORT IT.

Good call, Mike. I was just copying and pasting and completely forgot about that change. I’ll go update that now.

I can also throw KoF as a main game. What are the standard rules for that?

KoF doesn’t really have any special rules. Default settings, 2/3 rounds, no banned characters or anything like that.

kk

Scott, like I said earlier this month has become ugly, but come March we can probably have some get togethers. I like to learn.

Is the new Battlezone location bigger or smaller? Do they have an internet connection? Maybe we should start trying to stream some of this stuff.

I’m actually open to streaming if anyone has a laptop that can support it. ALTHOUGH, that is something I have to run by the shop since it would kill their bandwidth.

Yeah, and we would have to figure out what goes into it. I’m sure it’s not that hard…however the equipment might be costly.

All you need is a camera, a computer, and a justin.tv or similar site account. It’s really easy. In fact, I already have that stuff set up on my PC, so if I ever feel like streaming from home I could, but, honestly, I have nothing worth streaming, lol. The biggest problem in streaming has to do with your Internet connection. Everything would be good for you, but if your viewers are getting choppy, garbo feed, what’s the point?

Oh I’ll bring my camcorder and, yes, I will record all finals if they are not overlapping. I’ll make sure it’s recording pretty much the most of the day as long as it can get power since the battery only lasts an hour. Preference to KoF of course

I don’t think it should be a problem making sure Finals are played separately.

so in other words we are allowing winner to change up order if opponent changes up character and order and also shouldn’t we ban the HYPOBOLIC TIME CHAMBER STAGE dear god i can’t stands see so much florescent white makes my eyes hurt. or least have a soft ban?

I’ve always been in the school that winner should never be able to change anything.

Forgot about order stuff, standard for kof is winner keeps team but can change order, loser can change anything.

I can definitely jump on banning heaven and the red stages, there aren’t any stage specific things in this game so no reason not to.

just been seeing that in the majors at first i thought my eyes were deceiving me but they were allowed to change the order if loser was changing character or order.

Just my opinion, like in SF4 I always felt winner had to keep their ultra also.

Main reason KoF tourneys allow anyone to change order is because it can only be done blind, and doesn’t allow for counterpicking.
