So, KOF13 hasn’t arrived yet, which means we’ll be running something else tomorrow barring the miracle that it shows up tomorrow afternoon. Since I don’t feel like dragging another system to Comic World (unless people REALLY wanna play Tech Romancer ^_^), we’ll play something else on the PS3 after UMVC3 is done. Options:

- MVC2 (if Jackie shows up, since I don’t have it on my PS3)

HDR was played because my copy of KOF13 is still somewhere in the Midwest right now that isn’t Dubuque. Slops to me for picking high tier when Blake reset me in Grand Finals. 
Next week WILL be KOF13 following UMVC3, and the start of our 4 week ranbat for each. The first week of KOF13 will be free to enter so I can encourage people to try the game, and I’ll pony up something for the winner. Overall winner after 4 weeks in each game gets a $15 GC for GameStop, and know I’ll be trying damn hard to make sure I don’t have to pay that out.
I’ll probably try each of the Evo games as a secondary ranbat (as well as BlazBlue and SkullGirls), if you’re wondering what we’ll run next month.

KOF13 just arrived today. Holy gigantic soundtrack. Hope I have time over the weekend to see what characters blow and how I can use them to piss this entire town off. (You know, like I do with every game.)
dude just Leona blows everyone else are a close knit family also that soundtrack is pretty awesome. I ended up agreeing with the tier list that the SoCal players made up. No one in my eyes sticks out like a sore thumb. There might be some bad match ups but that happens through meter management.
Been trying Leona a bit tonight, and generally I like her for some odd reason. My team might be King/Mai/Leona or some other order of that.
Just looking at the roster: Duo Lon, Saiki, Shen Woo, and Kim seem like the ones I’d try out first. Then again I haven’t really got a feel for the game from the demo, so who knows?
Right now I’ve been messing around with a team of TMFB/King/Flame Iori. I’ve got some basic combos down for all three, but really need to work on learning HD combos.

Elena’s rumored to be in SFxT, and Asuka is confirmed.
My desktop is named “Asuka” and my Zune is named “Elena”.
I think I need to play that team based on that alone.
Quick heads-up: Next weekend there’s a Magic pre-release and then the actual release the following week. After that, I go on vacation for a week. That being said, my being gone and the shop’s schedule doesn’t allow us to do another tourny until next week. I’m looking around at other places that I might be able to use, but it looks like I’ll probably need to wait until one of the last couple of weekends of next month. Sad faces.

Even if that was true, there was some sloppy play all around. We all could play better. I need to win a tourney in Omaha sometime brah! Last weekend I got bodied by their trifecta…
Also I think every single set I won came down to last game. That could’ve been maximum exposure for me.
SOOOO hype for KOF this Tuesday. Even if it’s like just three of us playing, I WANT to play that game more. UMVC3 I have fun with while playing, but I don’t have any drive outside of matches. (True of a lot of games, sadly.) This…I just can’t freakin’ wait.
As a reminder for the Dubuque weeklies, double-elim in both tourneys from here on out. Even with 6 or less. Made an exception last week because lol 30 minute HDR tourney WITH a Grand Finals reset.
