I started to learn a bit of MK9 last week and got some basics down. I’ve decided that’s like the worst game ever though. I’m gonna try Tekken 6.
If you don’t like MK9, you probably won’t like Tekken 6. In all honesty, if I wasn’t 14 years invested into the series, I’d never play it again. I’ll probably be one of those people that thinks SFxTekken will be the best Tekken game of all time.
That shit was awesome. Considering how long I mained Vega, though, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen nearly everything hax’d about that character’s goofy-ass hitboxes. Doesn’t make that standing cross-up cl.FP from Cammy any less than the most hilarious thing ever, though.
Yay! Whenever you wanna play let me know. And I agree with Mike, if you don’t like MK, I dunno if you’ll like Tekken. A lot of Tekken players have started playing MK because it’s an easy transition, for whatever reason. I’m going to pick it up this week and give it a go. Regardless, I do want to try to scrub it up in SF, so I’ll play that with you, too. Just let me know.
Good news everyone. I got in touch with the venue and the manager finally said she’s on board witht the tourney idea. To work around M.O.K., I’m going to push my event as far back as I can (sometime in November). VGE hasn’t really gotten back as a sponsor so unless no one else steps up, I might have to fully rely on everyone to pitch in on systems and games. Finally, might not be able to feature all the games I wanted, so it just might be what’s on the PS3. Considering 3rd Strike is being re-released, that might not be a problem. Full details when everything’s finalized.
Eggers was at the 6/11 event? Why doesn’t he hang out with us anymore? Did he move and I just forgot about it?
