I would really love to but it’s just hard on a Sunday. I doubt I’ll be able to take another Monday off in a while (I got burned pretty badly taking this one off).
Same here. Sundays are not fun days for me. They’re sobering days.
I have been brainstorming other ideas for venues to try to move the date to Saturday, but it’s really hard to find a deal like the one we have at this bar. Our game shops suck, and any restaurant/bars are always busy on Saturdays, which means I’d likely have to pay for space. Last thing I want is to add a venue fee and then not have anything free to give people. 
I should note, though, that we’re done by 6, so you shouldn’t have to take Monday off at all.
Just a heads up I can no longer make any commitments for any tournaments aside from Evo (tickets already bought) sorry to anyone I offered a ride to but I’ll let you know if this changes.

He didn’t have to, although just to be nice to the owner for letting him use it, he did give the guy the venue fees that he collected as a thanks. I actually think they have Warmachine tournies there on Saturdays (and maybe MTG, too). I’ll double-check.
But, part of the appeal of the bar is the fact that not only are they giving us stuff to be there, but no one has to leave to get food or drink, which is always the big issue with tournaments since they last for hours and no one wants to miss any of the action. And, we have no competition since they’re dead on Sundays. Last weekend was a little weird since they had some pow-wow council meeting or something there, but that’s not a regular thing and they weren’t there for very long anyways.
I’m still racking my brain to see if I can think of other places around here, but we’ll see.

Yeah, I’ll definitely hit you up for some game nights next week. Once it’s more than you and me (CR where you at?), we won’t have to flail at the other person’s specialty.
