Trying to get something figured out here and I could use some help. I have changed my team again (as that is what I do) and I am back to my old favorite of Firebrand (Swoop) / Skrull (Orbital Grudge) / Frank (Shopping Cart). I love the team and it has some excellent synergy, setups, and damage especially while utilizing all neutral supporting assists. The theory that I am testing is the following:
Frank combos into Survival Techniques and if I DHC to Skrull I can get no follow ups. In the corner I can DHC into Skrull torch which will hit the wall and cancel itself. I have managed to hit a launcher off this into a small combo that deals some decent damage, mostly depending on what bounces I have left. I can also set this up into a Frank assisted reset which is really nice. The issue I am finding is that my switch away from Ammy has left me without an install super at every turn and I am trying to find a way to do this setup but allowing Frank to hard tag back in. Whenever Frank decides to tag himself back in from anything he usually does so by crossing up the opponent, something that will not work well for what I am trying to accomplish here. I can of course DHC in with Skrull Torch (it cancels) and then Inferno to whiffed Survival Techniques, but that takes a total of four meter. If I am hurting that bad, I might need the meter for something else.
For awhile I thought that I may be able to push the enemy out from the wall in some way in order to allow the DHC enough room so Frank would drop in on his opposite side but not hit anyone. The issue with that of course is the fact that doing so will make Skrull Torch last too long and the opponent will recover before Frank can tag his butt back in. So at this point I feel that it is likely impossible, but I am still asking you all to see if you might know something or understand something that I do not.

Run Skrull/Frank/Ammy
ABC Skrull combo, do Inferno after launch (at the height of the launch), DHC to frank tools, you have enough time for pictures. Just saw this at TTT today on stream
Then you get to keep Ammy for lockdown like you want.
Also some fun stuff, if you get them into a corner and you haven’t used your bounce yet (air d.h) do this;
jump, call frank shopping cart, d.h, back dash, H command grab. Only people who can double jump and fly can escape. It is a very, very small window for the people with fly.
I run that Skrull/Frank/Arthur, I get hate mail because I level up frank, get skrull back in and resets/traps all day.
I was thinking about running Skrull/Magneto(beam)/Doom(missles).
What do you guys think? Skrull good on point?

I’ve just recently picked up Skrull but I’ve been playing Strange/Dante for a while
The reason I picked up skrull for my team is because he is nasty with Bolts assist and I feel like there is some untapped Skrull/Dante synergy ,But anyway my question is basically how can tenderizer benefit Strange and Dante in combos and etc.
And how can Jam session benefit skrull more because i feel like its just there for strange?
if your playing skrull on point you can delay the mmhs in the air then call strange and be able to relaunch with a meteor smash without xfactor

What would a good 2nd character be for Skrull/ (Someone) / Dr. Strange? I don’t know much about Dr. Strange shells.
Yeah Skrull on point and Doctor Strange in second slot then any good anchor are with a good assist for both skrull and strange
So you can go with :
Skrull/Strange/Doctor Doom
Skrull/Strange/Sentinel
Skrull/Strange/Ammy
All viable teams and can extend combos and have great assists for each other
I personally play Skrull/Strange/Strider and I LOVE the team
Skrull with sent, doom or hawk is pretty much the best you can get. Strange with sent can be very annoying to deal with. specially if your spamming H with stranges shot projectiles.
Also thereis always frank inferno into frank. take some pics have stranges assist hit then take a pic again omg =(

I want to try and run Skrull with Vajra. In theory, I believe it will allow for true 50/50s, as who wants to decided whether Skrull will command grab or not, or whether they should jump back just to get command grabbed. I will be playing Frank second, as I believe it will potentiate Skrull’s mix up and Skrull being able to level up Frank is a great asset… As for being zoned, what can Skrull do with this team to work around that? I imagine Rolling Hook plus Vajra will help a lot, but I could be wrong. Any kind of response is welcomed.
Shopping cart and vajra are great for skrull but remember skrull likes his meter so you gotta be careful to save 3 bars and xfactor for strider which can be hard because you need bar for skrull and to level up frank but frank plus vajra can be really good you can play some keep away to get some bar and confirm easily off vajra hits

hey all! I’m relatively new to this game and have been playing it for a couple of days. I’ve been using skrull since I first inserted the disc in and he’s a cool motherfucker. since I’m new and learning about otg and assist and what not, I really can’t try to see what would work because I don’t have knowledge that you guys have in this at this moment. I just want to know if spider-skrull-shuma can work or either with skrull. I’ll be happy if atleast one can work with him and happy if you guys can help me out finding a way to make it work. thanks.
Hi people, long time lurker of this forum and I’ve decided to post.
Right so first things first, I’ve been playing Skrull on and off for just over a year. I tried getting used to him in vanilla but then ultimate dropped and since then I’ve been in a character crisis (Yeah, that long…). Anyways I’ve finally settled on a team and he plays a big part of it. I’m running Spencer/Skrull/Missiles and I suppose my biggest question is how do you people think I should line them up? I’ve toyed them in a few orders but can’t decide what I should stick with. With Skrull/Spencer/Doom I get access to a pretty decent reset/combo extention in wire grapple (d+H (Hold), call Spencer, Elastic Grab/launch) which is nice but I get more damage out of the StoneSmite, StoneDunk, RollingHook, MeteorSmash, Inferno ender so it’s mostly there for the reset (And I guess if I open them up with StoneDunk). Missiles does it’s thing there. Also the DHC into Spencer is a ToD to most characters. (Also Spencers TAC infinite but I’m in consistant with that)
Spencer/Skrull/Doom gives me an extra “80K” with Spencer using StoneSmite assist after a wall bounce and the Inferno DHC. With this option I feel like my options are limited but more stable.
Last option is Spencer/Doom/Skrull. I refuse to play Doom first or Spencer last. This option leaves me without Missile coverage due to Skrull being the anchor but obviously has XFactor level 3 Skrull derp aka Random. I don’t feel confidant in this as the only benefit I see is a mild combo extention for Doom in StoneSmite-Footdive-Ender.
I’ll be honest as well, my Doom is bad. Like, really bad. I’ve only just got the midscreen combo down and I can’t land any of the TAC combos (Style or not) more than 25% of the time. However he adds so much to my team I can’t really drop him. As they say - everything’s better with Missiles.
Random question as well (Something I’ll proberly figure out in training mode next time I manage to get on there) - Can Doom OTG after an Elastic Grab? I’ve been using him to OTG after Spencers command grab so it’s unscaled, just wondering if anyone knows if it will work with Skrull too (In which case he would definately be staying at the back).

I believe someone earlier mentioned Skrull/Dorm/Doom. I like it but am thinking maybe Skrull/orbital/doom/missiles/Dorm/dark hole. Having Dorm as anchor would benefit more as doom is pretty shabby when hes all by himself, I mean Dorm aint much better but as anchor he would provide some support to doom helping him get in to deliver those high damage combos of his and also build meter for Dorm to throw out a chaotic flame or stalking flare in case he gets into any sticky situations. Btw can anyone input as to which of Dorms assists (Mainly Dark hole and Purification) would benefit Skrull more?
I’ve been maining Skrull/Morrigan/Doom since vanilla, but as my gameplay gets more serious im looking for more viable strategies, which also brings to my mind the combination of Skrull/Dante/Jam/Sent/upward drones as I also believe Dante has a lot to offer Kl’rt. Any thoughts?
