Thanks. I’m glad I got to pull it off on stream since I usually miss the TK Shield Slash. I didn’t want to risk backdashing after the stone smite to push them to the corner instead so I stood there and pushed them midscreen. If you got X-Factor, you can add 2 more Charging Stars so you’ll have 5 in a row.
Hi guys whatsup… Im trying to make this team work: Skrull a/ Wesk b/ Sent a… Any Ideas on how to make the team work better???
^I’ve messed around with that team, but with wesker on point. Wesker and skrull can both make use of drones for cover. A simple wesker bnb to a THC with skrull does a ton of damage.
Wesker OTG provides some unblockables using BPB and Stone Dunk, as well as easy mode combo extensions if you’ve already used your ground bounce early in the combo.
What issues are you having with the team?
I feel like the I"m messing something on this team… Im using the BPB and Stone Dunk unblockables… And I have a few unblockables with sent and wesker asisst…
Im trying for just more damage as a whole… I was looking into extending skrull combos more… Or anything around that nature… I actually started using a new team which is Skrull a/ Doom b/ Sent a… But sometimes I find myself missing a otg smh… Man I hate being in a identity crisis lol
How well do you guys think a Skrull/Doom/Strider team could work? Doom/Skrull both benefit from Strider’s vajra and skrull benefits from doom missiles. It blows up keepaway and Skrull/Strider is kind of a pick-your-poison anchor situation if you want to snap in strider with skrull still alive.
I’m thinking of adding skrull to my Viper (Burn kick) and Doom (Plasma beam) what assist should I use ? Tenderizer would be good to hold the incoming character in place for Viper’s focus attack, Does Doom Plasma beam benefit Skrull?
Tenderizer is the best for that team and skrull is best on anchor on that team, Ponce runs that team so you could watch some vids of him.
Tron (flame)/ Frank (cart)/ Skrull (stone smite). Skrull is crazy as an anchor (especially in x factor) and helps to extend both frank and tron combos. no need to really extend skrull combos he does hella damage to begin with.
I’d say that you should use tenderizer instead unless you have some nifty ways to have stone smite extend your combos. there is some cool Tron/Skrull tech where if you DHC from king kobun into inferno at the right time, king kobun will grow after the inferno is finished.
Hey Skrull users, I’ve been playing a team of Cap/Task/Skrull for quite some time and wanted to do an order change to make it more deadly. I’m going to switch to Skrull/Cap/Task the idea being that I’m pretty much playing two point characters with a really solid anchor. I know straight arrows assist will benefit Skrull and Cap immensely and stone smite can extend some nice Cap combos once I get him into after a DHC. Basically I want to know if this would be a better team composition. I have a lot of knowledge of Cap after playing him on point and I feel Skrull is best utilized at point as well even though hes no joke as anchor.
The original way is probably the best imo, Taskmaster on anchor is ok but not nearly as good as skrull. Cap/Skrull/Task would probably be better than Skrull/Cap/Task since Cap’s assist’s don’t really benefit skrull that much, and stone smite extends caps combos.
Skrull/Frank/Arthur
Finally after months of playing around I’m thinking of trying Chris (depends who I’m playing, but mostly nade assist), Taskmaster (H.Shot Assist), and Skrull (StoneSmite or Tenderizer)
Wondering on other’s opinions on this.
Hrm…I like it. Chris is a good matchup against a lot of leads thanks to grenade H, Taskington gets good extension of of stone smite and SICK corner pressure off or Tenderizer (though that is really specific), and skrull does his lvl3 thang. And Skrull will still be very strong if snapped in.
That first team order is good, probably the better choice, but a second option is Task/Chris/Skrull. You lose the horizontal projectile assist for the beginning unless you go gun, but Taskmaster gets a great DHC from arrows to slashes, and grenade DHC is safe in a lot of situations because of the combo-breaker on the second shot. But for that order, you may wanna check how well Taskmaster can extend with grenade assist, and I’m not sure how good shield skills + grenade is for blockstringy stuff. I am skeptical about how much mileage Chris’s assist will get here, but I adore Task point, so my loyalties are torn.
Third, and strangest option. Skrull/Chris(most likely gun)/Task(up arrows). Your point gets horizontal and vertical coverage, so you get a lot of good matchups, more than usual, anyway. Skrull gets weird delayed otgs for multiple occasions, an assist to push people down into throw setups, and a horizontal projectile too. Chris and vert arrows becomes a zoning king. Task is a decent anchor.The THCs may have shenanigans too, but I haven’t labbed it, so I would not know. But they all sound pretty shenanigan-prone. It they had nothing, that would be a shame.
I messed with Chris + Skrull (tenderizer)
In the corner you can call Skrull, OTG gunshot, lay a mine and tiger knee magnum him into the mine out of tenderizer… just saying.
Does Kl’rt with Vajra assist sound like it can do anything? Yeah, Kl’rt has an OTG move he can capitalize on, but say Vajra is the only assist he has in neutral. Would it be worth it?
It would only be useful, IMO, for cross screen meteor smash.
Vajra + meteor smash. lol so annoying, or incoming, vajra, command grab.
