@ 1:20 Batman indeed has a 2nd super this game is looking really awesome
Nice videos, for anyone who missed the short gamespot comic con stream its been uploaded
Nightwing became roadkill
He shouldn’t have asked for a car for his Birthday.
Cant wait for this! Hoping for Martian Manhunter, Sinestro and John Stewart.
The only fail so far is no running…why does NR insist on dashing as opposed to running!
My theory is that dashing is easier to animate well, since it has a set beginning, middle, and end. Of course specific running attacks would fix that.
Nightwing’s dash in Eskrima stance is insanely quick and covers a good distance. I’m liking it very much
According to the screen, 15 stages are going to be in the game.
Correct me if I am wrong, but Booster gold is just a guy from the future with futuristic weapons right? Wouldn’t that just make him like a non beefy Cyborg in terms of gameplay?
Well, if they can have Nightwing and Batman together they can have Cyborg and Booster Gold, I guess.
btw, in the superman x nightwing gameplay demo, the stage transition move requires meter
I can’t believe atlantis slipped my mind, thats a really nice idea that I hope we see down the line.
Not sure if this has been discussed, but does anyone know how the supers are performed? Are they simple button presses (like xrays in MK) or is it a motion + buttons?
Random players were able to perform them at Comic Con, so I presume they’re button combinations.
I remember it said that it’s done the exact same as MK9, so yeah pulling both triggers.
Wait so stage transitions require meter?
In other words it cost meter, does decent damage but completely resets the positioning…why would anyone use it to begin with. You got the dude cornered then just use that meter for other shit, would be pointless to reset the position and have him escape.
My guess is some characters will do better on stages with little objects where other characters will excel at stages with tons of objects.
Supes/Nightwing will want lots of objects, Bats and say Harley won’t.
Also, power characters consume many of the objects, whereas skill characters get multiple uses from them. In a match with at least one power character, it could be worthwhile to switch and to get your stage moves back.
You’re wrong
His powers(or most common power set) are flight, force fields, Super strength, and he can shoot bolts of energy from his wrists.
He also has Skeets whose abilities vary.
id love to see Skeets just hovering over his shoulders, think jarvis but with an attitude
please god no!
also if transitions require meter then that means they are there for the casual players to feel like they are doing someting cool , which also means we wont see it much if ever at high level play
good
