I’m starting to accept NR animation looking this way, but as long as it moves well and continues to improve with each game then it’s good enough for me.
At any rate I was thinking about the stage items a bit more and like I mentioned before I doubt they will have a dominate presence in tournament play. Due to their limited use,situation usage and relatively low damage I have a feeling they will more or less only serve to supplement zoning and combos. Someone mentioned that corner pressure would be risky due to the stage items but I don’t think this will be the case. Corner pressure looks to be as aggressive as it was in MK9 so its unlikely item usage will serve as a reliable reversal option against pressure…not to mention I doubt the start-up animation in using the items will be invincible. Also considering the limited use of these items it wouldn’t even matter if they were effective against pressure since it wouldn’t be something you could consistently spam for a entire match let alone a round.
I just hope she would her old school look instead of her new 52 look.

Looks like those “power shots” do wall bounce / floor bounce when there’s no transitions around. So, supers will probably only happen in corner combos.

Just saying if she made it in over Hawkman that will likely be why. Her popularity on the show did have her took over Hawkman’s book during DC’s “One Year later”. Shame that it bombed.
Bludhaven still a nuclear cater in the new 52? It would work well as a stage. Themyscira, Warworld, Flash Museum, Titan Tower, and Iceberg Lounge would make great stages. Phantom Zone would make for a kick ass training stage
If any Samurai gets in this game it better be Katana, she has an awesome/weird personality that people would fall in love with. I really want at least a couple BOP in here and Katana’s style of fighting would be dope as hell.
Also I wouldn’t really call Ivy a real Villain in the new 52 as some have said, she’s a Bird of Prey too now and she’d be amazing to have in the game.
I’m sure at least Black Canary will get in but if she doesn’t Poison Ivy and Katana would be my top BOP choices for Injustice. Awesome personalities, awesome fighting styles.
I would love to see some stages set in the red and the green from animal man and swamp thing. Oa definitley. I’ve said earlier in the thread that since they have nightwing I would love to see Bluhdhaven. The change in the area could be chemo being dropped on it and destroying it . That’d be amazing
Actually im also so amped for new arenas. Id also love to have a Watchtower level over looking earth where you can duke it out in the command center then bust through the main hall or some crazy stuff like that. Also I hope Paradise Island is in a jungle like arena would be awesome for a change
I have yet to read this from the new 52 still waiting on the trade paperback volume.
aside from the already mentioned levels (really liking the flash museum idea), how about: the rock of eternity, bottled city of kandor, Atlantis, and maybe a level in the swamps in which mid way through the fight the legion of doom headquarters emerges.
OK now I totally want Kandor as a stage transition in a ‘Fortress of solitude’ level. Knock 'em into the shrink ray!
Swamp actually seems really likely to me. LOD is likely only in my dreams, but Grundy is a swampdweller, and we still might get somebody from the whole "The Green/The Red" thing, which would also fit perfectly.
I wonder about that… it would be a letdown if some of the stage slots are just the same stage, but you start off at a different stage tier (example you start off at batcave 2nd floor)
Welp since his show is still being worked on but they already have a network I think it’s safe to say Booster Gold is a shoe-in. No way they allow a character with his own TV show to not be in the game.
Somebody needs to see if wave dashing is possible in this game…because it should be.
Batmans new Super move is pretty awesome, but why’s he need to pause so long before doing something. Batmans flurry before the batmobile hits his opponent should be quicker.
I like how Flash’s “Drive” is to make the opponent slower. Pretty unique possibilities with that, I hope.
