Of course. I hope they don’t use these current cartoons as a reference to the game. I think they could, and should, reference some parts of the first cartoon. Nothing wrong with Cyborg saying Booyah. In fact, I bet many people got into comics thanks to these cartoons, and it wouldn’t hurt to have a reference here or there. I don’t think the characters should LOOK like they do in the cartoon though. That does not fit. I love how Cyborg looks here, and I would love to see Raven looking like she does in the picture I used last page. That being said… if they had Alt costumes… then maybe make them look like the cartoon. A nice throwback.
I mean, they are using Cyborg’s voice from the Cartoon(I’m 90% sure it is the same voice). That means they do recognize the cartoon, at least a bit.
That’s what I was thinking as well… They do have Sportsmaster really acting like Slade/Deathstroke from TT, from how he fights to even his posture.

What im really curious about is this games features. Honestly i have never played a single MK game since way back in SEGA era, but i heard MK2011 was a good year for Netherrealms, ive read about how people enjoyed its robust story mode is and how its additional content was satisfactory both for dlc and unlockables.
I think he would be a good fit. A robot, and has very unique powers. He would have a very unique gameplay. Perhaps he could control distance with the wind powers, as well as blow back projectiles. That would be cool.
Man, I love how the cartoons still connected and brought in characters from the comics even as tiny bit characters. I liked her. The one episode that focused on her and the large cop is a favorite of mine.
While I don’t still play the newest MK game, I LOVED all the different modes in it. The story was great, it had so many unlockable stuff. The challenges were fun and challenging.
That is how a fighting game should be made. It CANNOT just have only multiplayer. Sure, that’s what the FGC only cares about, but you HAVE to have something else for when you have no one to play with, as well as for the people who aren’t huge fans of the fighting scene. Give them great single player modes, and they will be more inclined to buy the game, as well as play the multiplayer parts.
Capcom has yet to learn this fact. While a solid fighting engine is important, you can’t neglect the single player parts as well.
One thing Im excited about is all the potential extra’s this game will prolly have, netherealms studios have a thing for giving their games a lot of really good extra stuff so Im looking forward to seeing what they do with this title. And the story should be a nice ride if mk 9 and mk vs dc are anything to go by.
You would be right, if she was still like she wa sin the first issue, pretty much all the toxic parts of her got dropped and she’s pretty awesome. She’s shown herself as a pretty strong character and the one who helps keep Jason grounded and while her origin is pretty much the same they’ve been showing she’s been a tough a girl who’s willing to fight for herself and in the current story one of the best starship captains around, I would recommend reading the book around the 4th issue, it’s where things really take off.
The more I think about it the more I’m convinced brother eye and omac will play a role in this somehow. I thought it might be vandal savage or someone but now not so much.

I don’t trust the words ‘strong woman’ and ‘comics’ together anymore, but that could just be overwrought cynicism.
Wouldn’t mind seeing Tim as Red Robin in there for some staff fighting action,
though since there’s already one ‘Robin’ in, I suppose the chances are pretty slim.
Pretty sure Jason’d fit right in with this style of game too.
There’s so many DC Characters I’d love to see. I’m glad Aquaman is probably gonna get a spot. The guy gets no respect. I’m sure GL and Martian Manhunter are sure to make it too.

Nightwing is already using a staff, so that really limits Tim.
I was gonna post something like this but you summed it up well enough.
If you’re a Nightwing fan like I am it’s kinda hard seeing her with Roy but if you can get over that see’s shown as powerful as she always should have been. Issue 10# she is pretty awesome in and shows just how intelligent and dangerous she really is.
Her race is naturally very emotionless but still have depth and I think this is the best version of Starfire because it makes her more unique.
can’t wait to try this, and see what other heroes they will release!!
That would most definitely make this game alot more pleasing, i remember i heard Ed Boon saying theyl throw in some alternate costumes here and there
Tim was never known for his excellent fighting skills in the Robin position(gets his ass kicked by Jason and Damion numerous occasions). Tim is a Detective. He has the brains. He was the only one knowing Bruce may be alive while the rest(Dick/Jason) are convinced he is dead. I like Tim just because its been said numerous times his detective skills are a tier below Batman, yet he has the potential to surpass Batman as the “#1 detective” he strives to be.
Tim Drake Robin (or Red Robin)being in this game when NIghtwing Dick Grayson(the more acrobatic fighter robin) has been confirmed rules him out.
I also hope they seriously decide not to throw in Lex Luthor as a playable character -_-
