I’m lost… who is Brother Eye?
Whats funny is ‘political’ Lex seems like the obvious choice there, but I’m almost certain its not him.
Also, 80s starfire would be good, or cartoon starfire, but not current starfire. They kind of butchered che character, last I saw.
It’s an AI from “OMAC”, which is a Kirby DC comic that got briefly rebooted for ‘the new 52’.
It actually fits pretty well, now that I’m reading it again…
Edit: as per Ilthuain, the other thing the story matches really really well is Kingdom Come
Well, Lex did became President… SOMEHOW. But yeah, I could see them throwing a bigger curveball then that.
And Yeah, 80’s and cartoon starfire would be best(though the cartoon one would look out of place. They would have to probably change her look). The Modern one, while great looking, has an awful personality.
to rant some, the weirdest thing with starfire is that apparently ‘hot’ chicks aren’t allowed to have curly hair, whats up with that?
dont feel bad i luv redhood and the outlaws
That would be a cool idea, and looking at the wiki it does seem to fit…
So this video IS new right? If it is it should be up in the news.
what new starfire is the greatest starfire ever…
Kinda intrested in the stance change characters because I actually liked how they did weapons and how you could change your stances in the Onaga and Blaze Trilogy before MK 9. Spent hours on hours playing those.
The vid was up in the news yesterday, as I remember. Maybe the day before
Edit:
You and me? We fighting now!
Really tho, the first one was the best. There’s a kind of balance with the character when she’s done well. The cartoon one was waaaay too on the innocent side and the new one is waaay too much of a slut. Both are really boring as character types.
I thought that was just because she was wetrimshot in the newest version. In the cartoon I assumed it was to keep with the style of the show. They do make her hair curly in this short.

I hadn’t seen that clip, that’s pretty rad, and you’re right
Also its kind of rad that this thread always takes temporary dives into 'DC discussion thread'.
this is probably as far as the Teen Titans cartoon will go these new DC shorts are aimed for children, not saying any other adult couldnt appreciate them but, Its ment to be taken lightly compared to the comics which are much dark and grittier
Oh I know the new teen titans is going to be very much for kids. I will admit that the old cartoon was also more kiddy then the comics. The cartoon did go into more dark areas, like the whole Raven’s father arc. That being said, can’t one enjoy both the light and the dark?
The 90’s Cyborg looks like the Cyborg they are using in the game.
And I really enjoy these discussions, even though I am not a comic expert. I enjoyed having these sort of conversations when MvC3 was being devoloped on the capcom unity boards.
lol that Teen Titan Short was gold
Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I love it too
*be careful of admitting you were on unity though, it makes some people crazy
Probably to use a lesser known villain like you said. It would have been nice if they kept him a sports theme villain though.
Female Question is Renee Montoya. She takeover as the Question after partnering with the original Question in 52 and him dying of cancer.
definitely nothing wrong with that, but its these references that shouldn’t be based on why they should be in the game. As far as i see it Netherrealms is going for a much serious tone, not saying that the Teen Titans are to be taken lightly–But there are just alot of better choices than their crew.
I suspect they didn’t use Deathstroke, because at that point he was so very heavily associated with the TT cartoon as ‘Slade’, and wanted to keep him for that.
