i most likely am going to play this game for the strory mode because I’ve just started watching dc, marvel etc…and i usually watch anime so i never gave it a chance… I’ m still hoping i can take the pvp kind of seriously

thats the first time ive seen someone say pvp in relation to a fighting game. It honestly makes me more mad than when people started saying it when Dark Souls came out.
But yeah, most Marvel and DC shows are better than current anime… aside from Eureka 7 AO… well maybe Young Justice is better lol.

any iteration of dark phoenix negates any possibility of our comics being better than any other narrative art form.
I dont know if I can put marvel in the same breath as DC in terms of shows, what has marvel really had to offer recently outside shows that get cancelled a season into their run. Marvel has it down for live action movies, but in terms of anime movies and tv shows they just dont have it anymore ever since spiderman got canned:(

I think its because DC works closely with HB/Cartoon Network studios, but just guessing.
Hmm well since batman TAS, they have had maybe close to 10 other shows that for the most part have had high ratings and critical acclaim. I wonder if DC just decided to let marvel have the movie market while they dominated the tv/dvd market with all the shows and anime releases they have…have bruce timm probably helps them in this regard.
It sucks though cause Id love to have a good x-men show again or some other marvel related franchise on tv again, but given who is currently in charge of their animation studio that doesnt seem likely.
I dunno. Usually, when I see someone agree with me about anime sucking and they say “except X,” X tends to be something horrifically bad. Like Elfen Lied. Or the 2009 Fullmetal Alchemist series. Or Evangelion.
And while I’d easily pick Champloo or Bebop over any of those, I’m still not sold on either show being a thing of pure greatness.
