I have had nothing but trouble all day playing this online. It’s literally been unplayable.

Seriously, this is just as bad as early MK. I am PRAYING they fix the fucking online soon. I can’t handle another MK9.

I can’t keep playing 90 guys in a row where we both have such awful input lag that all we can do is throw fireballs from full screen and hope to god to hit the other person. Then, when they get close, mash whatever simple ass 111 or 112 combo and then get back to full screen.

I go to training mode, do such beautiful things, then go play online and can’t even manage a fucking 4 hit combo.

Ok I’m using tonight to beat the story. I’m not gonna be sleeping so eff it. Maybe I’ll try ranked for my Yellow Lantern skin

This stream needs more Grundy and Hawkgirl. I want to see what those characters can do in the right hands

It’s not perfect, but I’ve done a total of 266 matches so far and they’ve all been playable. I drop stuff here and there, but it doesn’t seem to be as bad as your experience. Could it just be your internet?

The netcode is subpar…but it isn’t early MK9. The only thing that’s on that level is KOFXIII’s netcode…which is worse than early MK9.

Still though, this level of netcode should not be acceptable.

Tyrant played terribly that time and still bodied Doomsday, I think that match kinda proved me and Saitsu’s points.

Gotta say I’m disapointed people are going for ease of access picking characters strictly to win without even looking for tech like Deathstroke and Doomsday instead of player characters out of the way they were designed to play.

Hopefully the netcode sees a patch bc my harley would vastly benefit from it lol. Until then using mainly killer frost and Raven so i don’t drop every combo ever

Just finished playing a few online matches, and had some issue due to lag. Kinda sucks when you can’t block and your combo inputs aren’t coming out. Yet and still, the game actually plays better then what I expected.

The Doomsday player didn’t do that well either. Too much MB Supernova, not enough MB Venom. MB Venom is Doomsday’s MONEY. Advantaged on block, gets his ass in for his pressure. Way too much raw Venom without it, which Tyrant only punished once. And as I’ve said before, a predicted Supernova can be a dead Doomsday (though Tyrant did not punish it once even when he had it read).

But soon in the bracket we’re getting WonderChef vs. Infrit. Should be a good one.

Eventually people will learn that Slade’s Sword Flip is MINUS 21!!! Full combo punish that shit please, every character can do it.

nope not my internet. I tried other games and it was fine. It’s the exact same issues I had with MK9. Press punch and wait like a half second for it to come out. I seriously can’t even do simple shit like 2,2, special move. Trying to avoid projectiles is the fucking devil. I got my ass handed to me by a Joker who just sat at the far end of the screen and shot at me repeatedly and threw ground cans when I tried ducking.

I had a few matches where it was playable and I was able to actually land combos and have strategy. But I would say 90% of the matches I’ve played have been awful. When I played you, I really didn’t have a problem though.

They better fix this, or it’s the last NRS game I will get. This netcode is ass. How can I play SFIV and have zero problems, MvC3 and rarely have a problem, then I play this and I can’t even do a 4 hit combo if my life depended on it?

And I don’t care how good Venom is, Doomsday is a fucking horrible trainwreck of awful.

Well I don’t really know as I have as many problems with this netcode as MvC3 so if that’s acceptable to you, then this should be too. As MvC3’s netcode isn’t acceptable to me, this one isn’t to me either.

after some training with harley, i’ve come to this conclusion

this is her bnb:
j2, b2,2, Tantrum stance, cartwheel, b3, j2, j2, 1,2 QCF1 (does 40%)

doesn’t work when her chest is facing you, for whatever reason, her wall bounce whiffs completely
then when her back is facing you, this combo is piss easy to get off

i really hate the fact that the stance does actually matter, go ahead, try it for yourself, she doesn’t even come close to connecting it when her chest faces you

another thing, the netcode sucks, i have been dc’d 6 times in a row tonight so i finally gave up, and to make it worse, the matches started off with a great connection. i hope this gets fixed

When the button checks are going slower than MK9, that’s when you know players are stupid.

MvC3 netcode was never amazing, but it’s easily leaps and bounds better than this. I am hoping they just need to either tweak some of the net code, or upgrade their servers, or we need to wait for more people to stop playing. But as of right now, with a few small exceptions, it’s just unplayable. I can’t sit around all fucking day watching combos drop, unable to punish anything, unable to AA, like with MK9 all over again.

Is it better than MK9’s online? Yes. Is it good enough? Not even close.

No it’s not better than this. That’s what I’m saying, it’s as bad as this game. So if that shit’s acceptable, than this is too. But it isn’t, which is why this netcode isn’t too.
