Can’t wait to see Injustice at WNF next week. The first showing once everyone has the game is always the most magical; people experimenting, no tiers are even close to being solidified, all sorts of tech we never thought of being shown off… ahh I love it. It’ll be week 1 Vanilla Marvel 3 all over again.
Hardly matters, especially considering the day one patch, but a bunch of the east coast guys that have access to the game already have been saying Aquaman is absurdly good, like top one material. I’m expecting a ton of Aquaman players honestly.
She has five options if you count backdash/forward dash out of the stance. Else she has a two mid attacks and a low.
She has several chains with overheads/lows, and one of the best universal overheads in the game and her super is good. Downside is her ex moves are pretty bad, so is her trait.
okay thought it was about time i signed up again oh well .
im here to share some new tech, involving the focus attack system in the game.
ill post this on other sites but ill start here.
a key feature of the injustice mechanics which is some what over looked is the focus attack system.
an accustomed system that can be recognised by those that have seen or played SF4.
the focus attack system in injustice doesn’t quite function like its sf4 counter part, but they follow the same principles.
they are both able to absorb a one hit attack,in other words have one hit of armour.
the focus attack system in injustice works ,by imputing forward heavy or back heavy plus the meter button.
this is often useful in block strings and as a universal counter to certain strings with low block stun.
most of you may already be aware of this but im not sure anyone has mentioned that you can actually dash out of both forward heavy and back heavy charge version attacks so this can be used for bating attacks and whiff punishing since back dash is safe.
also adds a new layer of depth, as well as granting more movement options.
think of Jax ground pound cancel.
bare in mind you must be charging to dash cancel out of forward heavy or back heavy.
this should have its own thread as i feel this will play a huge role in competitive play given the depth and possibilities at hand.
i personally haven’t seen much from nightwing, but i suspect he’ll give people some of the most challenging offense to deal with.
aquaman looked top notch from his announcement, and cyborg is easily in that department as well. on the flipside, considering there’s more characters to be revealed, it’s impossible to say for certain at this point how things will pan out.
joker still looks ass imo though. haha
martian man hunter is an obvious dlc choice, but i really hope lobo makes it in as well. he’d be a great addition to the cast, if even just for his obsurity.
In fairness to those people, SSFAE2012 DOES have awesome net code when compared to Marvel, KOFXIII, and MK9. Granted, it’s no TTT2 or P4A when it comes to netcode awesomeness, but still.
