just to let you know, both raven and green lantern each have their own character reveal trailers, as well as regular gameplay videos, that were also released by nrs, and green lantern was actually in a couple battle arena matches. their special moves, supers, clash animations, traits, win pose, intro, and in game models have already been “officially released.” there are no spoilers in that video. so why was it removed?
mmm… not really. not to the extent of other games, anyways. i guess you could if you were REALLY be paying attention, but you have to input your string before you land from doing the jump-in. you do have other options like going into a safe string, stopping the string early, ending with a safe special move, etc.

did anyone else pre-order from walmart? my game has been “processing” for four days now, and that’s not counting the day i ordered it (april 5th). i mean, i don’t really care as long as it’s at my house on or before the 16th, but i like to watch the package slowly travel through the cities lol. i hope walmart’s not pulling any funny business D=
You can also meter burn bounce cancel during normals and strings, but no specials. By doing f,f + MB or QCF+MB ( both inputs work) you can interupt a normal are string and let it go into a wall/ground bounce, or dash cancel for mix-ups or getting away for safety.
For instance, batman’s 2,2,3 string can be interrupted after the 2,2 on block. If you think your opponent is going to poke you out of the string, do a bounce cancel and knock that fool through the stage.
This cost two meters, while a naked Meter burn bounce only cost one.
Alright, being a MK1-3 and MK9 fan, I can forgive some things that NRS wont budge on, but the jump-ins shit is retarded as fuck. That alone could stop some people from playing it half way serious. MK9 has jump-ins with P that you can combo after. Some of this shit they are being too stubborn on, I understand wanting to not make it MK just with DC characters, and wanting the game not to feel like MK. But jump ins? And none of the “Capcom people” that have been testing said nothing?
I want things to make sense. That is why I hate SFIV and MVC3; shit doesnt make sense. In one game I cant tell if a move is gonna cross me up, or if they will land in front or behind, and the other has the most ambiguous hitboxes ever. Injustice’s non-hitconfirm properties are another example of…“What the fuck is this shit?”

in the beginning of april, right when i was planning to order my copy, the game went “out of stock” on the walmart website, and it wasn’t clear if they were planning on restocking soon or at all. they have more now, but i would hurry if you don’t want that to happen again.
Judging from the trailer that plays after you beat the demo. Is it possible that we’ll be able to name our lobbies? I’m sure it’ll have a filter. But it would be sweet!
