and because you know that you go for the knock down, corner carry, reset or a tech trap
the same happens on sg, the difference is that now my combo ends because i ran out of normals/specials to use on the combo, and not because i cant do/land them, but because the rules say so.
and you cant say that there arent long combos on the hs system, because the moves on the games are designed to allow them, as long as you know how and when to use them
GG, BB and UMVC3 (with its poor man HS system) show that you can have long combos if you know the system, if anything you get punished for not knowing how the hs works
Supes is a high herald level being with enough strength to crack a planet in half, if he even had showed the slightest resistance to a throw it would be like bats trying to throw a city block across the room. It was terrible writing and supes cannot be moved forcefully unless its by someone as strong as him…especially someone whom is only a peak human. It’s like when black panther put silver surfer in a arm lock…the writer had to apology a few issues later for not"understand the nature of surfer’s power".
Bad writing simply put, like spidey beating firelord or venom tossing jugs through a wall.
Aquaman took a shot in the face from a pissed off wonder woman and didnt even flinch and in case we forget ww>>>rouge. Aquaman also defeated the deep six on his all, and each member of the deep six are all 100 class. He beat superwoman(another class 100), stalemated lobo, knocked over amazo with a punch(extreme 100+ villian) and fought off despero(whom team wrecks the JL routinely). I agree that crossover is garbage but this fight with namor was handled right.
I guess. She loses to people weaker than her. And I believe the power gap has to be quite large for the power to kick in. Lots of joke overpowered characters in comics. Mad Jim Jaspers in Marvel or Bat mite and Mxyzptlk in DC (They had a comic where they destroy and recreate the multiverse every Tuesday for laughs)
Didn’t Spider-man, like, sucker punch him and then pound him into unconsciousness? He can lift, like, 10 or 20 tons, even though he never hits at full strength, can’t he? I don’t think that Firelord is invulnerable or anything, so I think it’s plausible for Spidey to have won that fight the way he did, especially since he was hitting as hard as he could, plus the adrenaline he was experiencing that probably multiplied his strength a fair bit. Was there some other factor I’m missing?
You’re thinking too much. Writer wanted something and it happened. It had more to do with popularity and issues of cross universe power scaling. Marvel has used a somewhat accurate system of power classes based on how much a character can lift over their head using their power (10-ton, 30-ton, 100-ton+) while DC hasn’t really used such a system.
Duke, the “Justice” designs are sick and they’re innovative. They just flat-out remind me of this
[details=Spoiler]
[/details] Which is good.
The Injustice: GAU ones… they’re just… bad. Imo. Wonder woman is ok, but Batman Flash and Harley are awful. They just added things on top of each other that really make no sense at all. They just added because they “had” to.
IPS is good if you find being unable to practice a particular piece of a combo without going through the entire thing annoying.
Like if you want to know if you can add in an extra hit, it’s really difficult to tell if it’s your own execution or hitstun is too low to make it possible.
