2+1 for stage interactions, which are also middle and light in that case.
1+3 for throws, which are also light and hard in that case.
2+4+6 (I hope it’s easy to pull off) will be the super.
6 is meter burn.
And 5, which hopefully is the stage interaction I won’t be needing, because of 2+1.
I love how strong zoning is with th is game. NRS always seems to have strong zoners in all their games and it’s great to have a dev that respects all the playstyles, be it rushdown, zoning, or the tweener characters.
Green Lantern has some great looking zoning tools and the gatling gun looked like a bitch to deal with.
Deathstroke is the most traditional zoner I’ve seen in the game so far depending on traditional projectiles over the grabs you’ll see from the Lanterns or Raven.
The characters I’m surprised to say I was most pressed with was Wonder Woman and Black Adam. They both appear to be the kinds of characters most will give up on but have the tools to deal with every situaction and opponent.
Batman looks good but those two have peaked my intetest.
I so badly want to believe in NRS for this game. This is the game i’ve been waiting forever to see: a superhero beat em up with proper fan service. I’m not uber enamoured with the ultra padded costumes, but I can foregive that. The roster looks solid as well.
But…
The exact same thing was the case with MK9. It looked amazing. I love MK. I lvoe the characters even if the gameplay isn’t brilliant. But they screwed it up so bad - and MK is their baby, unlike the DC universe. MK is their pride and joy and they couldn’t even get that right.
never mind the gameplay, which was extremely superficial. Never mind the redudant characters that were nothing more than klones. The online was utterly and kompletely unplayable. It wasn’t even close. Not only that, but they had no idea why not. They couldn’t fix it and just skulked away from the fans’ outcry post release. The game died. How could that have happened, and what’s to stop them screwing Injustice over. If the online is bad they might as well not bother.
of course they will say all the right things. I’m sure they are on record telling us how they learned from MK9 - and maybe they have. But unless there’s a playable demo the only way to know is to pay full price and hope for the best. They talked up MK9 too. They said it was ‘robust’. They talked about their King of the Hill mode. It was broken. The game’s online setup as well as it’s netcode were in every way the worst they could make it.
Uh…I’m not really sure what you’re talking about with MK9. Out of all of the MK games I’ve played, that seems the most solid and legitimately tournament viable. I feel like NRS has been starting to get it since that game and that they’re right now sort of where Capcom was when they did Marvel Super Heroes as the fighter, with MK vs DC as their X-Men vs SF.
Yes, Black Adam is “African”. He is not black, he does not have a Sub-Saharan African descent(which is what people actually refer to as “black”). He is from the north part of Africa where arabs are.
Not everyone in Africa is actually black, some of them are Arab, Whites, and Indians.
I think what he meant was he isn’t talking about balance, or tournament potential, he just wants to know how the online is and shit. Just spit balling here.
I wanted to get this game when it comes out but I don’t know how the game works. So far I know theres no block button and you hold back to block but are specials done by QCF and DP motions or is it more like down, neutral, forward. Also what is the button layout?
