I guess different opinions, because personally I’m happy with the roster, none of the characters I wanted made it, but I never expected them to, I’m just glad it has a nice balance between the gimme’s and the more obscure characters.
How do y’all feel bout NRS saying there were still 5 to 6 characters left to reveal? I thought it was just two(killer frost and ares) but 4 extra would be prime, but I don’t feel like getting excited over something that I’m taking out of context. So what do y’all think they mean? 5 to 6 playable characters? 5 to 6 DLC? Or 5 to 6 boss characters?
Those gameplay tidbits sound pretty nice. Might have to main Black Adam and Shazam (although I suck with charge characters). They sound formidable and I’m just a fan of the characters anyways.
And if anybody wonders why I don’t care much for the roster, too many Batman characters. Other than that, I have little to no issues with the game.
That’s fine but if you had the opportunity to decide the 24 slots for the roster; who would you have removed and who would you have replaced them with inorder to “improve” it.
I’m fine with the roster,it isn’t perfect, but they rarely are, plus i’m realistic enough to realize a perfect roster for me won’t be perfect for everyone. If I can look at a roster and feel like I would really want to play at least 60% of them, then I will consider it a really good roster, and that is the case with this game. Not to mention that they have seemed to put a lot of effort into the characters I didn’t like the idea of being included, so at this point I can’t see a character I would absolutely never play.
The only real major issue is the lack of Martian Manhunter, but one issue isn’t bad, and he may be DLC anyway.
I like the roster. With games like this where there is literally thousands to choose from, picking characters based off the plot line and sticking to it is the best thing. Imagine how easy it must be to go off on tangent characters. Picking characters that “fit” rather than “this is cool” is great. Other wise it ends up like Marvel where its just a bunch of randoms with no solid feeling of "ahh I see why this person was picked.
