Injustice: Gods Among Us; New Game by NetherRealm Studios

1:46 because it was yellow I thought that was Sinestro.

Raven finally appeared (cameo) in the latest Teen Titans.

It might be. EDIT: Nevermind, probably Hal.
Hawkgirl eh?, I’m okay with that. Also hype fully restored.

Story Mode looking epic
Im seeing some alternate costumes such as Nightwing etc
More potential character reveals and SF style control?! YES

This is what I’m talking about! A nice amount of info to delve into!

I dunno how NRS does it, but once again they have me hyping the story of a fighting game. That trailer was epic!

Also Hector is hella good at dodging roster questions lol (in a good way of course). The option to switch to “Street Fighter” commands is crazy, though. I wonder how that’s gonna work? :b::f:'s become hcfs? :f::f:'s may be dp’s? Sounds so weird. Cool but weird.

I hope the option to switch input commands is on the character select screen. Please don’t have that god awful config from MK9

Seems like NRS is pulling all the stops this time, I have a good feeling they’ll change this up too.

Cool to get a glimpse of a bunch of the alternate costumes. Looks like they will be used in story mode similar to MK9 where characters will appear in different costumes depending on the scene. Hopefully it means you won’t have to pay real money to unlock them.

I really like WW’s and GL’s alt costumes, HQ’s looks promising based on what little we can see of it (hate the green/red hair in her default, not a big fan of the costume itself for that matter). Superman’s, Deathstroke’s and Lex’s look pretty decent. Flash’s looks almost indistinguishable from his default costume, and Batman’s alt looks kind of hilarious. He looks like one of those “hockey pads” knock-offs he beats up in the beginning of the The Dark Knight.

Very glad to start hearing some details on game systems! Disabling stage interaction is a welcome option (though I hope it won’t become necessary, personally), and KOF-style blowbacks sounds like a really interesting addition. That alone will make this game very different from MK for sure.
I have absolutely no idea what to make of this supposed option of different style of inputs. For all we know it could simply mean that D, F, 2 can be performed as QCF+2 (which is of course the case in MK9 - and every MK), and he’s just trying to find a way to make it sound as impressive as possible. Regardless, even if we had complete and accurate information, being a controls thing it’s basically impossible to judge without hands-on experience. But I sure am intrigued.

IGN confirmed that there will be a 2-player Online training mode, the ability to turn off interactive environments, and the option to switch it to SF motions. All they have to do now is put in a replay mode and this will be the most beautiful thing to ever grace my console

I hope, despite being able to turn off stage hazards and interactables, we at least give 'em a try in the competitive scene. It was actually one of the things I was looking forward to seeing play out once the game drops.

I mean if they end up being really glitchy or borked down the line, maybe but… I dunno. We should at least give it a shot.

Am I the only one who got legit excited over Hal Jordan’s Sinestro Corps outfit? Does this mean Hal gets a suit for each one of the Lantern Corps?

Please say it’s so, Uncle Ed.

I’m not happy about hazards having the an option to be turned off. A general game mechanic shouldn’t have the option to be disabled. I can already see this causing a split

I can see SF controls being more of an pain in the ass and a positive thing for me personally. I’d rather do Back,Forward + triangle than HCF +triangle to do one move.

I’ve always hated SF move where I have to “roll” my fight pad or stick to get what I want even tho I get that’s it’s “SF’s tradition” I don’t want that shit in my NRS games. Only time I use “rolling” type characters is to play Alex in SF3 back in arcade/PSN because I love that character and his playstyle but that’s it.

I’ll stick to MK style controls to avoid complications.

If they do this then I hope only like two stages are used in competitive so we could work with only those couple stages environments instead of ALL the stages so at least it is less confusing.

The comic for this is fucking terrible. Goddamn trying way to hard to be edgy and it has Supes character all wrong.

Grundy reminds me of Astaroth.

That’s a great interview, lol at them talking about the possibility of a SF VS MK

Can someone link me to the prequel comic? PM if you have to.

:X

Buy it. It’s inexpensive and well done.

So the story is basically a giant version of the Justice Lords episode of Justice League?
