Boon apparently tweeted this pick, the folders say DLC, Cinema Renders, MMHunter, and Penguin.
Could be a sign for either of those characters inclusions, could be a troll for one or both, or one or both of those characters could just be a character model file or something.
I’m hoping that Penguin file means that the Iceberg Lounge will be stage.
That would be cool, he could also be a prisoner in the Arkham stage. Or playable, at this point I don’t care any more,he wouldn’t be my first choice but maybe he would have some cool umbrella moves or something, i’ll just get double extra hype for the non-batman characters (on that note the possibility for martian manhunter is always awesome). Acceptance is probably easier on me. I can at least count myself lucky that I really like Batman, Nightwing, Joker and Bane as characters (not that I hate the others, these just happen to be the Batman characters i’ve always fanboyed over).
I think I just completed the grief cycle on the Batman character thing.
I hope Penguin isn’t in the Arkham stage. He’s one of Batman’s villains that’s actually sane. He’ll have no business being there.
Good point, but they may just throw it in anyway, the prison stage in mk had characters that had no business being in prison so you never know. I hope you are right though because as I said you make a valid point.
You think we’re getting Black Adam and Captain Marvel? Man I hope so, would truly suck to have one or the other.
I think we should get at least one, between the previous videos and the appearance of Shazam (I hate that they changed that by the way, i’m so used to calling him captain marvel) in a cutscene that the magazine described, they have a better chance than most. I wouldn’t be surprised if the pulled a cyrax/ human cyrax and put both on the same character spot,one being an alternate costume with different voice files etc.
Every time Boon teased a character with videos, the character was shown the next day, but they did just reveal Bane and Lex sorta, so eh.
It would truly be some shady shit to trailer up Black Adam before formally revealing Shazam.
