Injustice is a game that tells whatever story Netherrealm is trying to tell with its campaign. If the story is ‘Batman & Gotham’s finest’ VS ‘Superman & Friends’, then o’ well. Thats the picture they’re trying to paint, not just a DC Comics dream mash-up fighting game.

The point is that lex doesn’t make sense as a FG character. I understand the story aspect but then again it’s a fighting game so give us good characters that suit that purpose. I also fail to see how it’s gods among us when half the roster belongs to batman…and I’m saying it now batman is officially at 90s levels wolverine and Spider-Man BS.

What is the point of even having discussion threads (or the www at all) if you’re not allowing people to bitch about products they’ve already committed to buy?
There are hundreds of DC characters and they pretty much have to choose JLA, JLA enemies, and batman friend and enemies.
One of the main reason I can’t get into DC is because of the very issues that is rearing its head now.
People like Lex, Joker, batman, giganta and cheetah… Fight people(and have fought) superman, darksied, wonderman and the Flash…totally stupid.
Also DC hero’s pretty much all do the same thing, the difference in lady shiva, black canary and batman are pretty lame. And most of it comes down to “i’m a genius” or “I have money”
If you throw, Daredevil, Ironfist/wolverine, and psylocke in a room it would all be far more entertaining and you’d have much more to work with than the above.
I hope they do more to make the characters stand out besides gadget type and grapple type… It seems more like a pigeon hold in the long run.
The classes are Power and Gadget, Grappler just means bane likes throw dudes. The classes don’t actually effect how a character plays, just how they interact with the background items in the stage.
In that regard I do appreciate the fact that marvel has a better sense of balance in their universe and that the power sets are very specialized. It prevents anyone from being OP and enough room for other characters to have some relevance.
DC characters tend to be OP and have a power set that is inclusive to every practical ability you could have. This probably explains why the best stories tend to happen with their low tier scrubs although occasionally you get good stuff with the top dudes. New 52 IMO has done a good job balancing out the tiers although its still silly to have peak humans interact with cosmic beings like supes or the gls. Although in a room of wolverine,psy,ironist and DD it wouldn’t matter cause bats drop kick would KO them all!

It’s because it’s a dumb choice and people like lex have no business in a DC fighting game. That spot belonged to better characters and not a poorly conceived villain for the most OP fictional character ever created.
People hate on non-A-listers being in the game and now that probably THE A-List villain of the DCU that isn’t from the Batman comics enters, it’s another shitstorm.
There are two DC villains the entire universe knows. One is the Joker, the other is Lex Luthor. To say he doesn’t belong is ignorance at its highest level.

Metropolis. A lot of the shit from JLU drew heavy from plots of Superman: TAS. Probably due to the Bat embargo placed on Timm due to The Batman airing at the same time.
I seriously final to understand how a guy in a kryptonian battle suit isn’t fit for a fighting game. That’s like saying Iron Man doesn’t belong in a fighting game
