Why would they have 3 robins? Tim, Jason, and Dick weren’t all Robin at the same time.

A few very, very simple ideas.

Tim Drake(like Nightwing in this game’s staff stance), Batman(like he is in this game, maybe more melee attacks), Catwoman(same as this game), Mr. Freeze(Keep away), Killer Croc(slow heavy hitter), Joker(same as whatever he’s like in this game), Two-face(well rounded and with multi directional dual pistol projectiles, and some sort of 50/50 gimmick with his super or something), Harley(same as in this game), Ivy(keep away, a lot of pokes, has stun moves, control altering moves, and screen altering moves for the afflicted), Ra’s(sort of slow, sword based moves, good at mid-range), Clayface(slow, trap character, crazy projectiles, a lot of stuff is possible with this guy), Zsasz(very fast, fights with a knife, low health), Nightwing(like himself in this game but with the dual sticks only), Penguin(Pokes, projectiles, slow walk speed, has a move where is umbrella opens up and deflects projectiles), Grundy(same as in this game), Bane(Grappler/Brawler, slow walk, good dash), Manbat(has a flying stance, sonar projectiles, Sindel’s scream move to stun, mid-speed, good air mobility), Riddler(Pokes with the cane, trap character), Scarecrow(has stun moves, control altering moves, and screen altering moves for the afflicted, low health), Deadshot(very projectile based keep away, not so good upclose), Red Hood(good up close, has a lot of mix-up combos, very few projectiles, brutal attacks).

My point was that there’s really a huge amount of sameness in the Batman Family, necessariy or not (noting that most of them don’t have powers). A general DC game would be better in every single way than a batman family game.

Fortunately NRS knows this.

Jason Todd was terrible pre-Red Hood. Even now Jason is still meh. I liked them better as villain. Anti-hero Jason is lame

I’d strongly disagree.

New 52 jason is the most interesting robin outside damien. Dick is just kind of the generic good guy in his own book, and tim is just tim…just sort of guys who react more to the story as opposed to driving the narrative.

IMO all of the Robins were meh and unnecessary besides Dick and Jason.

Though I do think I think that Jason needed to be Robin and die, but I don’t like the fact that he was brought back in a retarded way.

Should of just been Dick as a successful pupil and Jason as a sign that he should work by himself again, no Tim.

And I really don’t like the idea of Batman/Bruce having a kid, so I never liked Damien.

I wasn’t sure of it either but damien has really proven to be 1 of the better recent inventions in the DCU. His relationship with dick is also something that IMO has improved my view on dick and showed that he really has come far as a character since his robin days. Either way I think it comes down to writing obviously, and damien has luckily been written very well in his origin and current run…DC just now needs to leave the robin thing alone for awhile and just let damien be the last 1 for a few more years or if possible decades.
