Still waiting on Captain Cold and Lex here
Well considering the green arrow tv series begins airing tonight I can’t say Im surprised at his inclusion. With the announcement of the joker and green lantern I believe they have covered every character that was pretty much a given save for captain cold and lex(both in the annonucement trailer if Im not mistaken), I wonder how many slots they have left and who will fill those slots. Just finished reading animal man and swamp thing tpb’s this weekend and those comics are amazing, I realize its highly unlike either of them will make it in but figured id give em a shout out anyway. If any of y’all haven’t read the new animal man yet, you really need to get on that, comic is such a refreshingly new take on a super hero.
In regards to the roster though, Im not even gonna begin hoping for characters cause fact is most prolly won’t make it, I just hope its a nice mix between main stays like supes and bats, and obscure people like big barda and some of the demon knights.

Also screens of GL and Joker should be coming sometime today.

Fuck Hal Jordan. It always pisses me off that he gets to be in everything when the other Earth GLs are superior to that bastard.
So apparently no trailers for the two new characters, i’ll be honest i’m a bit disappointed. Still glad to see those characters confirmed. Joker was the one major Batman villain I wanted from the outset, and Green Lantern is always cool to have.
This game needs only ONE character to make it GOTY…OWLMAN (voiced by James Woods) . That is all

I just hope this means Black Carnary is in also. I’d still like to see Vixen or Raven or more female characters in general.
This game looks much better evertime I see it, it has alot of buzz behind it as well.
John Stewart got the entire DCAU. Considering how revered that is, I think Hal’s allowed a bit of catchup.
Hal’s had decades of comic stories and movie. Catch up my ass.
The GL extended family doesn’t get enough love.
Outside of a few cameos in Young Justice Stewart hasn’t been seen since DCAU. Guy Garner at least got to be the GL for Brave and the Bold. Kyle still gets nothing :sad:
I love me some Raven, but if they bring back Deathstroke I’d be happy. Giving him the same voice from Teen Titans would be icing on the cake.
That’s because DC’s barely HAD any cartoons since the DCAU that wasn’t Batman-centric. And Reason, Hal may have all of that, but the GL movie was meh, and the DCAU is the media that most people actually know the DC through. A majority of people who don’t read comics would probably say they know John over Hal at this point.
But yeah, Kyle Rayner gets no love PERIOD.

Gotta disagree with the Green Lantern movie being “meh.” You see, calling it “meh” is giving it some redeeming value, like if you’re into the GL comics you might find something to enjoy. No, that movie is just a crap. With that said though, I doubt it damaged Hal Jordan’s character and actually made him quite popular.
