If Mark Hamill voices Joker for this I will literally die a happy man. I know he said he “retired” from Joker after Arkham Asylum, but he went on to voice him again in AC, DC Universe Online and (I think?) Gotham City Impostors. So I’m hoping Injustice is his “last” time as well.

@sod, my suspicion is someone wasn’t quite ready for Gamescom. Maybe my one batman character + one league character is sound. Looks like Mendis is getting his faction based character select after all.

Yeah Dimaggio is also very acceptable. Pretty much ANYBODY but the guy who voiced him in Young Justice. Most plain Joker… ever.

This game has been looking better and better since it was revealed at EVO 2012. Granted, I didn’t like the look of it at all initially but its look decent now.
Seriously, I love Hamill for everything he has done for the Joker in the last few decades, but … if he voices the Joker in Injustice and sounds just like he sounds in DC Universe Online and the Arkham games I could honestly live without that.
In DC Universe Online he sounds very, very, very, very old, which he basically is. It’s time for him to pass the torch / voice, or simply stop drinking alcohole and smoking cigarettes like a crazy man. His voice is too … uhm … looks at dict.cc … it’s too rough.

For a game called “god among us” you’d expect them to pick only characters with godlike powers or at least cool powers. They aren’t useless, but again, the game is “gods among us” I expect spectacularly powerful characters fucking shit up, NightWing, Harley, Catwoman, and Green Arrow are cool and all, but why pick them over super powered brawlers with insane power?
Batman and the Joker are exceptions to this because they are fucking ridiculous.
I’d take NightWing and Harley, but Catwoman and Green Arrow are just disappointing choices.
I do like Green Arrow and Catwoman as characters though, just not in a fighting such as this. I could end up maining one of them but I still don’t think they should have picked them.

And for the title “gods among us”, think about it for a moment: Even in the midst of everyone with super powers, you have all these other HUMANS who defy logic. They go in alone and take out mass amounts of armed thugs, terrorists, and even other super powered foes. They do the impossible without the aid of the super natrual. That’s remarkable enough to make people look up to them. To consider them “gods among us” (YEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH).
Because people don’t know / don’t care about these characters you’re talking about? Because there’s only so many ways to incorporate yet another Superman with boobs, Manhunter from a different planet, GL with a different color, or Zatanna with a different “flavor” of magic?
Even your picks are totally subjective. Any case you make for your two keeps can be made for your two drops. Hell, Harley’s only gift is that she’s totally delusional. At least GA and CW have weapons.
Honestly, the “this character deserves it based on” card is the worst play in the book. Let just hope NRS delivers a game full of characters with unique abilities that are worth playing and not a bunch of guys who just shoot a slightly different form of energy or come from a grey planet instead of a blue one.
All I can think of right now, is to tell you to just shut the hell up due to your lack of background checking on the game, and crapping on it when you obviously haven’t read anything about it. Gadgets and Power. 1941 vs 1964, please STFU. How dumb.
