It’s disappointing how NRS handles the Injustice-marketing right now.
Why do they even bother to go to the conventions and … waste the time of the viewers? I know that Ed Boon likes to troll a lot, but this is just getting ridiculous.
Maybe they want a lot of things to be big surprises. Nowadays, devs tell you damn near everything about the game before it’s out, and while that’s not at all a bad thing, there’s no reason why they can’t give us just enough info to know what the game is like. Besides, atm, it’s not NEARLY as bad as pre-release SFXT where we would go months with no new info and unanswered questions.

They didn’t even have to reveal a damn character, they could’ve just shown off a stage or something.
A reveal every major convention would be ideal, so people know when to expect new info but it isn’t given to them constantly and kind of adds to the hype.
The reality is very few non-press people have the luxury of turning up at multiple conventions a year, especially not say Gamescom (Germany) and Pax (Seattle) so what is the point in pausing development to prep demo builds less than a month apart? To appease the comment and forum monsters who never go to shows and are never satisfied any way?
You guys are experiencing the exact same butthurt MK fans have endured during the dev cycle of every game since Deadly Alliance. And not only did we all continue to beg for scraps from start to finish, each and every game has sold like gangbusters. This practice will not be changing.
If you follow Boon in the pre-release hype of anything Boons does you know how much he likes secrets. He loves keeping fans in the dark and having fans discover the secrets all on their lonesome.
Been reading a few of green lantern issues lately. Man, I hate the guardians. Too bad DC was rebooted since Nekkron killed some of those blue bastards.

Because of the internet? Everything you see during a convention, usually appears on the internet as well sooner or later and mostly it’s sooner.
Ask yourself who is going to buy the game: the media, the guys who went to the convention and saw the game there, or the … (YOU CAN’T EVEN COUNT THEM) people who are checking out new updates on the internet on a regular basis to see and learn more about the game and pre-order, if they like what they see.
And do you want to know what I see when it comes to Injustice? The same stuff I saw during the very first interview.
Does this sound familiar to you?
“over the top action…”
“summer blockbuster movie…”
*“larger than life…” *
“next big fighting game…”
“no fatalities, but super moves…”
“it’s what we call ‘gadget’-characters…”
“2013 eheheheh…”
I have a lot of favorite songs, but I can’t listen to them for too long, because then they become old and boring. I like to change it up and always look forward to find a new song that can keep me occupied, when I’m …

One more reason to hate Geoff Johns. He took them from aloof characters who actually gave a shit and tried to have some logic in their decisions to crochety old men and an authority figure for GLs to rebel against. Shits lame.
Waah waaah waaah.
This has been THE INVINCIBLE SWORDSMAN saying:
Is it really that hard to fucking wait?
When is the next big event where they might reveal something, btw?
I love MK, always have but I have some very immature fanboy hype going on.
@Mendis, I’m not saying it doesn’t suck. I’m not saying it isn’t unreasonable. I’m saying its the way they’ve always done it, and they have 0 incentive to change. For every angry word we all type now about re-released footage, shitty play at trade shows, and trailers featuring the same characters they announced day one, we will still be here, month after month, ruminating over shitty over the shoulder cell phone footage and we will all line up, day one to pick up our probably pre-ordered copies. Its the same dance I’ve done every single year and a half or so, for the past 10 years of my life. And honestly, if thats what NRS / WB has to do to keep putting out games as full featured and high quality as they have, fine.
@trufenix, Yeah, but the good thing is there will be leakz and we will know about the roster, before they even decide to release more informations on that topic. It’s always like that when it comes to games and especially fighting games B-)

@Mendis, if you’re implying that leaks are good because publishers are stingy with info, you are beyond help.
Uhm, actually not because of that reason. I’m just a person who doesn’t like surprises / or to wait and speculate for a long time about something.
I like leaks because they take away the “pressure”. You see it, you know about it and you can put thoughts into other stuff.
The UMVC3 leaks were amazing, because I saw that the game would have Vergil in it and my life as a gamer became complete.
I would like to see Injustice leaks. It’s certainly not a movie, where I don’t want to know about the story or something like that. It’s a game and now waiting for new conventions to see if the publishers are willing to give away one more character … if you’re fine with that, then you’re beyond help.
I would prefer leaks, which come out of nowhere and spoil the entire roster. One tricky topic less to “bother” about.
