What else are we going to get? Oh yeah that jump back Mega Man. Jumpback megaman is way more fun than Cable.
More like IM/Doom/Cyclops; Doom would play the robot’s role better with his assists.
Wait, Spiral had tech with Victor Creed!?
I like the TAC/infinite crying that is going on. I hope they leave it in. Takes people’s attention off Morrigan.
Also, they make Iron Man better.

It was one of the early Spiral traps before Sentinel.
Sure though; lets patch the fuck out of MvC2 so that it can play like MSHvsSF. Because we all know how awesome that game was.
Pour your salt guys, Niitsuuma says he’s not patching it!

TAC infinities confirmed to stay. Get learning them people.
3 years from now we’ll have it all figured out.
Still pointless outside a few characters. Learn this shit like you’d learn the rom and shit I guess.
I’m not sitting on the fence on this one. This is going to change the game, both through team selection and the way matches play out in general. Even now guarding against TAC’s is altered (as the risk of getting hit by the infinite has to play in your mind).
What is up for debate is how worse the game will be. You basically don’t have to pick a team that has great damage output anymore, literally just clusterfuck the screen with hitboxes, ABC your way into TAC, then make sure you have a strong incoming mixup (doesn’t matter whether you use meter or not) and rinse and repeat. Characters that can escape incoming mixups may become crucial. X-23 could ‘break’ the game… we will see. I would have definitely preferred to patch this and not even have the possibility of the game becoming worse.
Man, if Capcom listened to you guys, we’d be getting ass raped in Vanilla by DHC glitch, ???/Haggar, ???/Tron, and ???/Phoenix
We did not need a full year to figure what would have happened there and 99% of you love UMvC3 over Vanilla.
That’s basically about as bad as Xmen vs. SF is (just about everyone was viable because everybody had shit). Which basically means not that bad really minus some of the activation supers. There’s fear of activation supers and guard breaks killing the game off the TAC’s but we’ll see how theory or practice it becomes. Which even then since there’s so many characters capable of that stuff that still allows for a good amount of characters and team set ups.
I definitely worry about activation supers and strong meter hungry set ups/THCs leading to stagnation. A lot of characters are capable of the infinite, but who can benefit from liberal meter use are much smaller.
I hope the game stays around, because I have tons of fun with it still. I currently run Thor/Dorm/Felicia (got that character love for Thor, previously dabbled in pairing him with X-23 and trish) so I’m not especially a tier whore, but feel I’m going to have to at the very least make sure the team I’m playing with in 6 months time can use this tech otherwise I think I’m gonna be left too disadvantaged…
Zeus said he’s supposedly playing a team that can’t use the tech and he feels he’ll be fine any ways. It’s balanced enough by the fact that straight killing people is still better for a tournament. When I hit Zero or Vergil on point…they are just fucking dying straight up. No giving them a 1/7th chance to live or whatever the fuck…no they just die.
Remember that 60 to 80 percent of the cast should allow you to use the tech in some way also.
Are we still getting a patch of some sort?
Eh we’ll just be going around in circles, but the different right now is you end up killing without meter. But this tech lets you have a say 6/7 chance to kill them and end up with 5 meters… big difference.
Anyway, looking forward to this kubo glitch. Maybe its the saviour or true downfall of marvel haha.
No. Unless they change their mind. They have specifically said no.
Got damn you bitches cry so much over one fucking combo. On the plus side there is apparently a glitch that makes the incoming character invincible for approximately 3 seconds. So it seems like Marlinpie discovered this japanese tech that fubarduck was keeping secret.
Now you have some potentially game breaking shit: no more incoming character mixups.
That’s what people said about the TAC infinites. Marvel 2 players would have loved this tech really IMO. Can only block once when coming in? Yeah…
That’s considering that’s definitely what the tech allows you to do. I’m still trying to get definite answers on this shit.
Yeah we should shut up let it go the way of
A3
Rival Schools
HnK
SF3 NG
SF3 2I
Arcade KoFXIII
and other games that died in part by infinites
KOF 97
GGXX
BB:CT
Early vs games.
All shit too, but proof that with fixes, shit can be salvaged.
Other glitch needs to go too.
