MAY keyword MAY have a concept for RR. On incoming Rocket Skates down do J.Mx2 and J.H. I’m using Vergil as the dummy. This is off of a Down TAC
It’s weird though like you can’t do it immediately but it seems like his will involve his Air Medium and Heavy attacks.
it wouldn’t make a difference the size of the opponent, you would have to literally cancel the float into j.H THE VERY FIRST FRAME every single time lol.
EDIT: I can get the glitch to trigger consistently, it’s much easier to do the one I mentioned, but getting the infinite after… not so much.
Yeah it’s easy to set up but the actual combo is hard and yeah size doesn’t matter in this case. I thought it did but after I tried down skates it wasn’t that much of an issue. Except comboing afterwards.
nice to see you guys on verge of cracking it… it’ll be amazing on film for the rest of us no execution types.
I have a camera so that’s my only means lol but it’s VERY hard lol In some cases I can get him to jump but then they pop out probably because im not delaying it.
If they pop out, you didn’t execute the glitch.
Ok, I just got Magneto’s down to at least hitting it most of the time, even if I’m still dropping it. Why does Magneto’s j.S not trigger a flying screen during the glitch? Rocket’s does =( If I could get RRs to not trigger flying screen it would probably be pretty easy to get an infinite going.
EDIT: Actually maybe it wouldn’t because j.S is a projectile… might not work at all actually.
EDIT2: NOOOOOOO WHY WAS I NOT FILMING >.< I just hit hit 3 j.Hs in a row AFTER triggering the glitch.
Food for thought here for Jill players, I went two minutes into training mode and didn’t bother really searching, but I’m sure more patient players can find somethind such as this:
TAC > first hit cancelled into 236A into whatever infinite you might find or
Before the TAC, have Jill enter her level 3 super, wait for it to be at nearly the end, switch characters, TAC > Downward dash into whatever infinite you’ll find.
Didn’t bother checking if Jill already had already gotten a tac infinite.
Dude start filming! lol How do you trigger the glitch cause I almost have it off of Down Skates but it’s like I can’t get the link to work.
So according to a couple of tweets from Honzo:
…MODOK for S-tier?
As much as i think TACs are awful, and i’m sure we all agree with that. This actually makes them a little less scrubby. You need to know your matchups, which characters on your opponents team have infinites and which TACs are they possible from? Plus some more interesting stuff…
Say you’re a Phoenix player and you’re playing against a team with Frank second, Frank’s infinite only works off Up and Down, so do you continue doing the Phoenix thing of mashing sideways, give your opponent a free dead character and level 5 Frank (one of the best Phoenix counters in the game). Or do you try and prevent the infinite?
He got that from: UMVC3 SRK Tier List/Theory Discussion READ FIRST PAGE!
You can’t call assists because you’re still in sj. state. Maybe airthrow into infinite but how will MODOK OTG and resume sj. state? The best he could do is get a reset into another TAC.
enjoy

I only got 2 for the video, but it shows the concept
c’mon vipers lets go
I’ll try to post mine soon. It’s almost the same except I’m using down.
At least Rocket is not left out of infinite land. Might be completely impractical, but there’s the evidence XD
I MAY have something with air M and air H but again since my execution is ass they pop out but it’s something better than nothing.
I have one with j.M and j.H as I already mentioned, but I actually find just perfectly timing j.Hs to be easier lol
Seems to be that way. Still working on the concept but I keep getting interrupted. >.>
According to MarlinPie, hypergrav resets the launcher state - he’s a special case.
I had the weird idea that maybe using hypergrav assist would open up more possibilities for infinites, as it would allow j.S in the loops for all characters. Haven’t tried it yet, and don’t know how assist calls influence the TAC state, so it’s just a theory.
You are in superjump state during a TAC so that shouldn’t be possible.
