How big is this supposed to be? Also, how big is the guys place?
It’s a three bedroom apartment with myself as the sole occupant. I could do up to about 32 people (what a payout that would be!).
Jizzon could you possibly have the tourney later in the day? Like around 5.
Man, I’d love to be able to accommodate everyone’s wishes for time, but if we were to start a five event double elimination tournament that late, we wouldn’t be finished until sunrise the next morning. I’m off the next day as well, so if EVERYONE wanted the thing to go down later, I’m willing. It just doesn’t seem realistic that everyone has both days off on the weekend. Skip work and come!:wgrin:
I personally have both days off and wouldn’t mind the later start but honestly I don’t think it’s a good idea overall. But I guess we’ll see what anyone else thinks.
Also, anyone/everyone is invited to Abe’s (WKDCLWN’s) next gaming party in the Fort Wayne/New Haven area which is this Saturday, June 2. Y’all some come out. Yo Jon, you should think of hitting this up. His gaming parties are fantastic. I’ll give you his address/phone # if you’re interested. Same goes for anyone else in this thread that is interested. And don’t forget Ghettoontherise is offering to pick folks up if you are on the way for the tournament. Maybe he will do it for Abe’s party also?
What time is Abe’s event? If that starts at 8 I could probably make it.

Nevermind Jizzon, I thought your event was June 2nd and not the ninth. I should be able to get off early at least. Could you possible run 3rd strike last? Are you going to run multiple tournaments at the same time.
The 3S event of the main tournament is the last of the five, to be held in sequence. What time do you think you could show? If it’s within a few hours of noon, I’m willing to start a little later…just nothing too drastic. It would be in your best interests to make it for all five events if you want a shot at winning the main prize. Otherwise, you could still win a bit of money for taking down 3S, just nowhere near as much as winning it all.
Jizzon- I just managed to get Saturday off, but I got to take a teacher certification test in the morning. So I can probably make it around twelve. There aint no way I’m winning it all anyway :). 3rd is the only one I play seriously. You should just go as planned I should be able to make it way before 3rd starts. Thanks though for considering adjusting the schedule.
Brent- I expect to see that juggle hungry Oro of yours there.

Yo, Indy people, party at abes house in ft wayne saturday(tomorrow) night. Me, dave, and dereklearnslow are all goin to it. U guys need to head up there as well. 15 arcade machines, 2 60 inch tvs, every fighting game known to man. Lots of beer. I know Mario(riotguard) is going, he might be able to give rides if u can get a hold of him. If u guys need more info, send me an aim, cardking06. Lets get u guys out of indy for once heh.

What can I say? Everyone is quitting now, which means more hours for me! Now I’m going to be responsible for fixing 100+ games, which sux.
I’m going to be lazy and ask if there are any tourneys this month. And lol at Vega’s comment in the other thread.
We may not get to play pros on a regular basis, but trust me, we won’t be the ones that get thrown in the oven.
Derek, your track record speaks for itself, so this isn’t directed at you. One of these days, maybe we will all get to play you in person.

No, there aren’t any local tournaments planned for this month or early August as far as I know. A couple of us are planning to hit Evo World in late August though.
Host up a tournament and I’ll try my best to make it down to serve up the beatdowns. It’s kind of like different ways to serve sugar in coffee. Instead of lumps it is arms. “How many arms do you prefer?” I have been know to deliver Spiral 6-armed and Oro 1-armed beatdowns to distant and local players alike. And of course I’d be thrilled if you could please throw SSF2T in the mix but then you know I’ll be spittin’ narcisism. Pretty boys get slashed…the extreme makeover!
