I was watching UltraChen last night, and it appears there’s a secret room with a secret boss fight. Won’t spoil it, but it’ll be a familiar face if you’ve played Skullgirls.
I mean at least we know Lab Zero gets their shit done, and the demo is a lot of fun, too.
I’d donate if I wasn’t broke all the time and if Lab Zero would ever use an artstyle that I actually like.
If you follow crowdfunded games their are far worse examples than Inafune. Double Fine and the devs behind Code Hero are far worst offenders. Setting up additional donation venues and delays are nothing compare to them.
Gonna set it to download on my PS4 before I leave for work. Stoked to try it, and really glad they hit the 60% mark. Fingers crossed the game gets funded, I’d like to play it.
Why are you guys hyped for the design?
This looks like a sunday morning Fox cartoon show, tbh.
When I look at it, I’m thinking of Pocahontas or some shit and not about an awesome game.
Not saying the game is shit, but I don’t quite understand how people are hyped for the artwork on that title.
Edit: WTF me all you like, truth is this game will fall flat on its face just like Skullgirls because Lab Zero fails to deliver a visually compelling artstyle that clicks with a lot of people.
I look at the game this one takes inspiration from namely Valkyrie Profile and Castlevania SOTN and I see gorgeous and dark and/or epic looking engaging artwork I want to delve into, I look at Indivisible and I see anti-drug campaigns and Mickey Mouse things.
That’s one of it’s most awesome aspects IMO. Not everything has to be super serious looking to be full of personality. Obviously Skullgirls, but other games like Cuphead and Dragons Crown come to mind.
Let’s not be retarded here, that isn’t the context of his quote. Stop trying to stir up unnecessary shit posting.
Anyways, on actual news, it looks like the game did reach it’s 60% mark and will be getting that 20 day extension. So there’s that.
