I dont mine the experience being similar, i just wanna know what is new. Thats all. You should be hyping the new features over the game being like another game.
Mike Z can’t really come up with new shit from what I understand…I mean, don’t you guys remember that he sold Skullgirls as “The spiritual successor to Marvel 2?”
from his post from almost a month ago I am guessing that he did and that has nothing to do with your terrible attempt at shilling, you need to take lessons from affinity.
Where as you are being lazy and doing the 1+1=whofuckingcares approach, affinity is saying eye catching shit like EXCLUSIVE PS4 CONTENT and WORLDWIDE RELEASE IMMINENT and REVOLUTIONIZES!!!
Then in your actual thread you can use other awesome phrases such as “raising the standards”, “let me suck your cock”, and the ever welcome “more refined” and “transcend”!!!
I think the game looks good. I cant wait to try the PS4 prototype. LabZ has done good so i dont mind supporting them. I hope they can make it in time though
“Play the prototype”
“Say something about it”
“B-But it’s alpha!!”
Let’s pretend that isn’t going to happen.
I understand it’s a prototype and all, but they could’ve used something more eye catching in terms of presentation to wow people into getting the game. Instead, it’s literally elements from Valkyrie Profile 1 and 2… nothing more. If they had something unique/interesting/new to offer, I’d like to see occur in the prototype. But if this is their first impression, hmmmm, nah I’m good.
No kidding.
Reminds me of that one space game people said was Dark Souls-ish, but played nothing like Dark Souls.
Their defense was something retarded like “but the story telling is like Dark Souls”. What the fuck does that even mean?
I need to make a game and call it Forgotten Souls of Time Chamber. And just say it borrows elements from games like Chrono Trigger, Dark Souls, Mega Man Soccer, F-Zero, and Final Fantasy 5 (you can’t say anything outside of 5 cause then you’re a piece of shit hacker scum bag). It’s going to be great.
I get what you are saying but Im looking at the company’s track record. SG was fun felt it was made for the fans and they didnt milk us with DLC.
That being said I would rather take a chance with a game made by people who seem to actually love gaming rather than the stuff we have been getting recently.
Don’t get the complaints about the art. Sure they could go and make it look like everything else, which is boring but agreeable. Or they could make an art style that looks like nothing else (Skullgirls and this game). The latter is always better, and being an indie company having the game stand out visually is incredibly important to get people to notice.
Obviously some people don’t like the art style, well that’s fine and personal taste. However it is a huge reason why Skullgirls was successful, and why it got noticed in the first place.
I can’t believe the composers Lab Zero lands. Symphony of the Night and Secret of Mana are two of the greatest soundtracks ever made. Getting Michiru Yamane for Skullgirls (which is why that soundtrack is the best in a fighting game since SF2) and now Hiroki Kikuta for Indivisible…is insane.
IGA being a fan and giving publicity can only be a good thing.
The demo itself was really fun. It does remind me of Valkyrie Profile, with it’s light platform elements and battle system. Short but promising, hope this gets funded.
Played the prototype and I enjoyed it actually. I don’t really mind the art style and don’t see what the big deal is, it looks fine to me for what the game’s trying to be.
Looking forward to the game’s release if it happens.
Finally got to play the prototype, I would love to see this game made. Sadly with the way the kickstarter is going I dont know if they will get the funding in time
The best thing about indiegogo is that dev can keep the cash raised even if it doesn’t reach it’s goal. They can use what they have and try again later with a meatier demo.
Yeah they are less than 50% with only 10 days left. I gave a few bucks. Honestly though I think their style doesn’t mesh with a large enough demographic even though the game play is good.
