Also, I hope no one has purchased a copy of MK9. WB is trying to limit online use to new sales and charge more for used. This is a trend that needs to stop. Plus the game looks terrible so the choice should be an easy one.
lol. I was never particularly interested in MK anyway, so it’ll just be me trying to dissuade my Dad from buying it.

Hey everybody, I’m new to Indiana, and getting back into fighting games. I played tons of Street Fighter 2 Turbo with my brother back in the day, very casual. It’s funny, I bought SF4 when it came out, and didn’t stick with it that much. Then I got MvC3 and my interest came back full circle. For the last couple months it’s been a main hobby of mine. I’m probably classified as pretty scrubby, but I want to learn and maybe get involved with a scene. Is it cool to just head down to that T3 tournament to watch and meet people? It wouldn’t do me much good to attempt to compete right now. Am I understanding it correctly that there’s a $10 fee at the door?
For the record, I think my focus is/will be on SSF4 and MvC3. Got a TE stick coming this week, and I can’t wait to start the arduous journey of transitioning to it. 
I look forward to gettin to know everybody better!

meh if you’re not competing, the Tilt staff are normaly pretty cool about letting people just hangout… barely half the peopl the show up to tourney are players… the other half are cheerleaders/cornermen/lovedones/dates/hostages/prizes … you should definitely come just to meet everyone if anything

I just wanted to give you guys a heads up…I just finished my first commentary test w/ my new mixer and mic set up and everything turned out great. This first test is me commentating random SSFIV matches for about an hour, I know I’m not the best commentator but I tried my best to keep it entertaining 
This is a small preview of what I will be bringing to the table at PowerUp 2011…all I need is my co host G and we are in there…Hopefully Sp00ky does not get salty that Nap is doing there thing as well.
The point is that we are in there when it comes to capturing and commentating on matches at the very least. My next test will be along the same lines but on Justin.TV, so keep your eyes open for that. I plan on hitting up Tilt every tuesday, starting in a few weeks w/ capture / commentating set up in tow…
So step it up guys…cuz I will be talking mad shit on the mic. Be on the look out on the boards and my YouTube page. I’ll let you know when I’m done uploading.

PU should have two commentaries going on simultaneously just like at Final Round. Spooky gets the main games and Nap gets MM, side games, interviews, and other matches. It’d be a good stage to get you guys going.
For anyone who may be considering attending PowerUp 2011, there are only 4 days left to pre-register online and receive the $20 Venue Pass rate. In-person Venue Passes are $30. You can pre-reg at the PowerUp Store.
Also, the internet at Arcade Legacy will only support one stream, but having the MM station be complete with commentary is awesome!
I’ll go to T3 this weekend just to hang, I gave up on Marvel 3, and if it ain’t AE then I’m not all that interested. Might do some Super though.

I’m all packed, ready to go and hype for the Monday Night Kombat MK9 Tournament going down tonight at Tilt Studios !
Now I know that I talked about streaming this event, but due to the less than average internet connection at Tilt and 2 followers on my Justin.TV channel I will not be streaming this event…It’s just not worth the stress of running a stream (a SD one at that) on a shit internet connection for 24 viewers that just so happen to stumble on to the stream. Sry guys.
But what I will be bringing you is a capturing station similar to the one I ran at NTC complete w/ commentary ! All matches will be captured in 720p HD w/ crispy commentary featuring myself and anyone else who would like to jump on the mic.
Hope to see you all there…I should be up there early to set up, around 6pm - 7pm. I don’t think the tournament starts until 9pm.
Have fun at Tilt tonight, guys. I’ll be at the Noblesville Gamestop at midnight, trying to secure a free copy via their tournament (if they have one).
