double edit: CSII for psp seems to be scheduled for release in march, so there’s a good chance we’ll be getting the console patch sometime around then
Random note, I started playing Gran Turismo 5 with my new TE as a joke, but I think i actually prefer it now over the standard controller. Definitely better than when I played Soul Calibur 2 with a DDR dance pad :looney:

How bad is Hugo in 3rd strike? I was playing around with him a bit and he seems a lot more interesting than the average grappler.
I’ll probably stick with Makoto but I’m starting to think maybe I just like command grabs in this game. I had a bit of fun messing around with Alex, and of course Q has a command grab too, shitty though it may be.
Hugo is very low.
Q is awesome tho… had fun playing 1 match of the new BB you guys, i’ll definitely be up there next tuesday like clock work and prolly saturday too since i gotta go talk to the sponsors i got lined up downtown… and i’ll add GG/BB to the side tourney list once i work it out in the schedule

everybody in the Indy scene gets automatic staff status at Naptown Clutch, exercise that position of power anyway you see fit, but it’s mainly to get in early to setup and regulate competitors

I’ve been thinking about changing my username to something less retarded, something that people can easily remember, pronounce, and spell. Assuming I can actually come up with a decent one.
Amusingly enough, at least here on SRK, the names Grand Moff Tarkin and Admiral Ackbar are both available. I would use Tarkin in a heartbeat but for someone who wasn’t that familiar with Star Wars it would probably go over their head.
edit: does anyone know if You can still DHC Doom’s air super into Tron’s lunch rush in MvC3? I’ve been trying to theorycraft something based on Team Z with maybe the Hulk as a replacement for Juggernaut. it would be kind of amazing if somehow Haggar fit that spot as well.
I still don’t know what to do with my Wesker team, maybe Dormammu and someone else, I’ll probably just have to wait until the game is out and try different things. I still want Wesker/Wesker/Wesker though.
I’ve been telling people about NTC and the MvC3 tournaments. You can count on me to help for those, and any more in the future.
Also, I need to ask about CBB:G. I remember the date, and I was hesitant, since I’m going to Ohayocon the next weekend after, so there was uncertainty there (Since I usually don’t have enough money for cons until right that damn friday. D:), However, I got lucky, and already have paid for that Con, so I just need to know how much and to who I need to give the money for the ride to Momo.
Also, for Evo, I assume there’d be flight involved in getting to Nevada? (Or did the location change again…?)

i haven’t seen it done because there isn’t a whole lot of tron videos, but it could still be. if not that i’m sure it could dhc into king servbot.
hulk is good replacement for juggs. does such retarded damage and his dhc’s get huge damage too and even more if you’re in the corner.
my current theory craft wekser team is wesker/iron man/amaterasu(doom? pretty much whoever i can find that goes well with these two). i like the wesker air super dhc proton canon and they’re two of my favorite characters. amaterasu is in there because when i played at nycc her cold star assist was ridiculous.
This is just a heads up for the local NapTown crew (G, Mario, Bank?the rest know who you are) I will be hosting casuals in Ohio the Friday night B4 Bar Battles (January 21st); I?m getting there a day early to get some practice and casuals in. I will have a suite at the Marriott Town-Place Suites in Worthington; it?s about 10 ? 15 min away from Momo2?s. The rooms spacious so I?ll have no problem having a few heads in my room, but nothing too crazy b/c I know how hype you guys can get.
I?ll have a PS3 and Dreamcast (Complete w/ two Green Goblin Sticks) along w/ tons of old school games including 3S, MVSC2, MOTW, Vampire Savior just to name a few. If things are cool I?ll do it Saturday after the Tourney as well, so if you?re down PM me.

hey does anyone in indianapolis play darkstalkers? i’m bored and want to learn a “new” game for fun. i’ve only played it a few times at arcade legends but it was a good time and the character design is hilarious.
i think the new seth costume kind of makes him look like he was built by some engineer from zanarkand in FFX. Balrog’s new costume is sick though.

The next set of SF4 costumes should just be characters cosplaying as each other. Or suits for everyone.
