So just out of curiosity, what system does everyone plan to get 3S Online for?
I’ll have it on ps3.
I’m a slight bit busy with work, at the moment, so I can’t really scan through the earlier forum pages. But would someone be able to give me a refresher as to the details of tomorrow’s tournament? (Time? Entry Fee? etc.)

ok i’m still waffling ad nauseum. i’m pulling a Brett Favre. i still might find a way to come to the tournament tomorrow. 
no one should care but i find Brett Favre’s antics funny so i find this funny. Barzaad, i’ll probably try calling you at some point tomorrow like at noon or 1pm.
I would say start with a straight forward character like Ken. Get used to the game speed and mechanics first. Makoto is good but she may be hard to develop well first as opposed to a Ryu, Ken, Chun etc.
I find that people start playing 3s and either get hardcore into like Indy did or just avoid the game once they realize it takes awhile to get good at. I was showing a guy how to use Urien and after about two weeks he quit because he said it was to hard. It takes a solid year to get some of the advanced tactics down.

Good stuff at the tourney today…good to see alot more people interested in 3s. Next time we’ll have to run some 3s side tourneys or something.
I just hope 3S Online is playable. I really want to get back into the game.
in the meantime you can hop on GGPO…its 3s in some ways lol.
I’ve played ST on GGPO before, it seemed to work pretty well but I’ve heard 3S isn’t so great.
Are you also getting 3S Online for PS3?
I’m getting it for both…so hit me up on either. Online 3s isn’t great, I just use it to see other play styles and to play something other than AI.

Will do. I hope using GGPO on console will help iron out any major lag problems. It won’t be perfect of course but I think playing against people as close as we all are would work pretty well.

Fun tourney last night and the setup was very nice. 22 people plus spectators for a Tuesday night tourney is pretty good. The comp was good too. Jeff’s Honda was serious.
GGPO is okay because there are quite a few good players on there but it’s bug ridden. I preferred 2df but that’s extinct.

Good games for sure. Sorry if I came off as being really salty after our games Mario, it was basically because you had my number in some of those later sets.
I wish that I would have gone to this, but I got sucked into the new World of Warcraft expansion. I’m thinking about making a stop at Tilt, this Saturday, though…

btw I’m gonna seriously look into putting on a weekly or bi weekly tourney in w. lafayette like the east coast guys do cause i know itd level us up huge, playing against good players like sensh really helped me in that matchup and I know more experience like that would be great for us as region.
