I never got into MvC2 but for some reason I’ve become incredibly hyped over MvC3, even though Strider has been confirmed to not be in the game (I’m guessing he’ll be dlc at some point). I went and preordered the PS3 collectors edition yesterday.

man it was so hype the other day… there was a huge group of dudes playing MvC2… i tried my luck and got smashed real hard, but when i came back 2 guys were playing a money match… for like $50, i had no idea we had people around that took it that serious

Before you get your panties in a bunch, I would bet on Shin Akuma and Evil Ryu being Boss Characters in the Arcade Mode and nothing else… Now maybe they’ll have a toned down version of said characters for multiplayer but doesn’t that sort of kill the entire point of playing Shin Akuma and Evil Ryu?
With that being said, let’s be honest, this is how the DLC rollout is going to go for Capcom. They’re going to release the balance change for free so everyone is playing the same game. They’ll offer Yun and Yang as a combo package for the cost of one DLC character and then Ono, being the Super Troll he is, is going to release DLC characters one by one until you get to a roster of around 40 (probably another 3 characters or so). This is brilliant economics 'cause lets be honest, we’ll all hand Ono our money.
hey i still have no clue if i’m coming Tuesday or not. i do have interest from one person but not for the SSF4 tourney. he’s a BBCS player and only wants to come if there will be some challengers for BBCS. will anyone of that sort be attending the Tilt event this Tuesday? he’s a top player of sorts i’d say (5th at SB5, only lost to the eventual winner) so this would be great practice for any local players.
post up if BBCS folks are coming. then he’ll want to come and that might make it more likely for me to come (i am looking for a good excuse to really come and i want a friend or two along, hahaha).
Will there be space for extra setups on Tuesday? I was thinking about coming out, especially if we can get a setup for BBCS or something going, which I can provide.
Also who are some good Makoto players I should look up in 3rd strike, I’ve been playing with her a bit and she might be a better fit for me than I originally thought.
There are only a couple of twelve players; Yamazaki, and Moto and one more that starts with a C. Necro- PinoAB7, Mutant XP and Sugiyama. Yang- Roshihikari, Rom, Boss. There are more you can probably find on TheShend’s youtube channel.

as for parking… yeah on tuesday’s you can get away with parking at the mall for about $5 for a few hours

True, and I did believe the same about them being bosses…That was until it showed the picture of Shin and Evil with a bunch of Japanese literacy sitting on the side of their faces with the number “37” in bold red lettering. Leaving me to believe they are the next 2 launch fighters or than just Yun and Yang. Meh, you might be right though, we’ll see.

of course you’re going to want to go to the tourney that is coming up soonest… but your hype reserves might be better saved for NTC in Feb… in any case train up, get hype, and go to both… simple solution
i forgot to mention that Marcus is gonna try to stream tuesday’s tourney and Zap and I are gonna be collecting and compiling as much footage as possible to try to make a hype video for NTC that we can show around the net so if anyone wants some screen time just say so…
actually despite me writing the word “Tuesday” about five times in the post i made, my BBCS friend failed to understand that this Ten Buck Tuesday tournament was indeed being held on a Tuesday. :sad: it doesn’t look like anyone else in Fort Wayne can attend this so the money involved for me to make it down here for this event doesn’t really make sense for me to come. i needed some others to tag along to help split the costs. i do want to come but lots of gas $$ plus rental car $$ adds up. i’ll keep talking to folks though. hahaha.
of course we’ll try our best to attend in February. i don’t think our crew has ever missed any NTC events under any variety of names. :tup:
well that makes tuesday’s tournament offically a Nap vs. Purdue event… once we trounce all the randoms out of course… unless somebody from like evansville or south bend just happens by…
