we’ll see about the T3 thing. i’m sure several of us will try to be down in February. i’ll try to drum up some interest about the Tuesday event. i highly doubt Gary would come to that but i’ll talk to him as well. i should be more than enough to handle for all Indiana players state-wide in SF2 and SF4. actually i don’t even play SF3 and probably that too, sadly. 
but Gary is the best in IN for SF4 hands down and showed me why again last night in a small local session. i’d say my buddy Khalid (Scrimps/Scromps/various names) is probably #2. it’s pretty close between me and him for #'s 2 and 3 but i’ll give him a tiny edge for now. i don’t know enough about some of the Purdue players overall to really know where they stand.
you got me all eager now to come play vs. all the “317 crowd.” 
might have to smack a few of these boys around with Dan/Hakan/T. Hawk first before showing them the true power of Vega. :arazz:
and speaking of T3 any word on the possibility of a little ST event or even HDR (boooooo!!!) even if it’s only like $5 to enter? if not even just a casual station would be better than nothing IMO.
oh and assuming i am able to attend in February i will certainly be willing to help in any way you deem necessary. i will certainly enjoy helping if possible. i remember you had mentioned this recently but i forgot to respond until now.
Just wondering, and this is probably a dumb question, but is there a reason the tourneys are going to be held on PS3? Seems like most people have 360s. Gonna need to borrow a stick =( I wanna dual mod mine but I’m nervous of screwing something up…
You may find we aren’t quite -that- free. We can be… expensive, at times. :3
They are the tourney standard because that’s what EVO uses. The 360 and ps3 versions run SSF4 at different speeds albeit a barely noticeable difference but noticeable nevertheless. Columbus Bar Battles ran on 360 and people were happy with that. It’s really whatever works best setup wise for the organizers.
i would certainly prefer to run it on 360 but most cats have PS3s for their fighters (i personally cant see why) … i know CBB3 went over really well running on 360… depending on what i get donated we’ll see if anything we can run it with mixed stations… easy
Brent man… we are certainly not that free… holy crap i really want you to show up so we can prove it boyo… we have like 3 vega players down here that would love to take you big sexy crown… as for HDR side action… i’d be more than willing to supply a station for it but i doubt anyone would wanna basically give you their money in tourney form… cuz uh in the ST/HDR aspect we (or atleast I) are indeed pretty free
I’ll bring my set up for T3 and for CBBG, as well as NTC. I might need a little help getting the TV up from the Parking garage, but only to either carry the bag with my 360 in it, or the TV. I just can’t carry both without risk of tripping.

but in this case i actually play those 3 characters in our locals on a weekly basis and play them online. they are fun and i have success with them believe it or not so don’t take it as an insult please, barzaad or keiforce. perhaps i should get you guys online and play some sets since i’m not sure what i’m doing next Tuesday and i can use all the ssf4 practice possible. i need to clear off a spot or two of my friend list but that will be easy. what do you say?

you know i didn’t take it to heart brent man… this is what we do… i’d totally be down for some XBL but my 360 is kaput… playing otherwise trust me when i say i have my edge… the Vega players we got here are Bank (my brother), Patrick, and Ryan aka Circle Scrub … albiet Ryan has next to no game and just picked up Vega at the last T3… Bank evidently can’t hold a candle to you but he has his strengths, and Patrick is really methodical… he does some stuff i’ve never seen you or any other vega player do… you gotta meet em man

Indy, I would absolutely LOVE to hold a CvS2 tourney if i could… it’s one of my favorite games, probably the best competitive fighter to date, and is the game that got me into tournaments… but numbers for it would be weak… I’m thinking of having it as the mystery tournament but i gotta talk to Patrick about it, either CvS2, or a MK game… but don’t tell anyone i told you… as for 3S that’s basically in like pirates this year… i’ll enter myself this time around (SEAN!) and i’ll bring a setup for it but i gonna ask either you or Mario to take the reins and run it cuz i’ll be swamped… once i get someone to run it i can garuntee it a side tourney spot and pace for the GFs on the stream no prob
forgot to mention that we’re getting alot of street hype for T3 next tuesday, lotsa flyers and heresay floating around so expect a few no names to fatten the pot, and since that’ll be happening i’ve decided to payout to the top 3 players instead of just the top 2… standard %70 %20 %10 split

Trust me, not ALL of Indianapolis is free at HDR… I might not beat Brent, but you damn well will be sure I’ll make him sweat… I’ve been practicing that Cammy / Vega matchup hard lately… ST… that’s a different story…

it wasn’t a ranbat, it was the old school onslaught. we tried to do gg teams but we didn’t have enough people so we just did RRs. we also didn’t have a lot of people for 3rd strike and nathan and i had to play mario’s team twice.
also, everybody that has hnk forgot to bring hnk and we were quite sad.

As far as B.Y.O.C. The cabinets they have for SF4 there (Considering they let us use all 3 of the UTE cabs again like last time) have some problems with the built in sticks and buttons, so I’d bring a 360 stick if you have one, just in case. I am, but that’s just because I like my stick. <3

Those sticks aren’t getting replaced. The manager stated on here he would have someone look into months ago and they are still messed up. The right stick gets stuck in one of the corners.
