I still never saw a pack of those but I can definitely believe it. They have some bizarre condom types and shit over there. I stuck to the Okomotos over there, got the job done.

Umm… now I’m not a big 3S player, but doesn’t just picking Sean merit a two and out? lol.
If there’s DLC for Super, we need to have Sean versus Dan, let them battle it out to be bottom of the pile.
So when is the next get together? I’m out this weekend, I have a conference to go to in Chicago but I really want to meet up and get a feel for where I’m at with Super.
ALSO: Maybe I’ll even get the chance to learn the blanka matchup a little bit since I just seem to not get Blanka in 4…
Sean isn’t hopeless you just have to work really hard on your mixups and spacing. His main problems are that he has trouble hit confirming doesn’t have a lot of good pokes and his jump and srk are ass. In the right hands he can do a lot of damage though. Under estimate him and you WILL lose.

I still want to play 3s even after that long session. Indy, you ended up winning most of the matches towards the end of the night from my recollection.
They were pretty even all things considered. You were destroying me at the beginning and then tide changed. Given enough matches I’m positive the tide would change again, it certainly was beginning to. We just kept adapting to each others’ play style. I hear you though, my thirst for 3s at this point seems to be unquenchable.
Its really true that you can win with just about anyone in 3s. Most characters have some way of either dealing a huge amount of damage in one combo or creating a incredibly one sided situation. If Q gets you in the corner, his tier list suddenly doesn’t represent him all that well because you’re likely to lose half your life. The game rewards smart play and understanding your character’s capabilities.
Edit: I had no idea Tokido played Sean…doesn’t he play Chun now? Thats a stark contrast for sure lol.
Sean isn’t horrible… you just really gotta buckle down with him as a character to get some solid wins… and i’ll totally switch to chun or elena if i gotta… but i just gotta try my sean in competition … and i’ve said it before: the day they announce Sean as SSF4 DLC is the day before i topple the world’s god level players …bet… but i doubt we see that day… how popular is Sean in a 3S sense? … he’s behind Dud, ibuki, and Mak of course … is he in higher demand than the twins?

Well, Sean is close to terrible in comparison to most of the characters. He has a good normal st.p but he mostly relies on mixups for little damage. Using him will make you play smarter, hard to describe but when you have less to work with you learn to make due.
There are also vids of Kuroda using Sean but the best Sean player I’ve seen (Sean P) only has a couple of vids. [media=youtube]WlIx0jv3tJc[/media] Almost no one uses him casually or competitively.

Mario and Justin: I checked out Supercade for 3s and it seems to run okay. Its got the usual online issues that online 3s has but its much easier to setup and use than the old 2df or GGPO. It also seems to run fine under Windows 7 which means that it should probably run fine in Vista too Mario.
There used to be an Evansville regional thread, but I just looked around and couldn’t find it anymore. There are some people down there though, I’m just not sure how you might get in contact with them now.

Arcana Heart 3 was announced for Xbox 360 and PS3. It is being ported by Arc System Works, instead of Ecole who ruined the Arcana Heart 2 port, so it’s safe to say it will be playable this time.
I want to start playing BB again when CS comes out. I will probably just stick with Ragna and not stick with Tager.
We should organize another local tournament B4 the summer is over. Downtown Indy Game-Works. Late August?
ragna is really good, he’s like 3rd best or so. CS has a trial mode like SF4 so it should be a bit easier for people to learn their combos initially.
I’ve been watching videos of Mu-12 and I might pick her up, she seems to play a lot like Dizzy from guilty gear. She even has a Dizzy color set.
