Evo is silly, Ed Ma vs Marn was my favorite match so far.
It kind of sucks that they ran Melty Blood pools at the same time as SF4 and didn’t stream any of it.

Eric, was it a physical hard drive failure or just corrupted files? I took a training course in computer forensics so I know a few tricks if you want to try and recover the data.

Brent: GGs for sure in 3s. Its a shame we didn’t get a chance to play some CVS or ST. We’ll have to get some more matches in some time soon. That Alex had me worried for a little bit, you had some nice variations on the usual boot stomp mixup. If you got his spacing and his pressure down he’d be really scary.
How did those vids turnout? Probably my favorite tourney matches ever especially playing on a cab. Felt like how fighting games are supposed to be played.
They’re good quality. The first match didn’t get taped for some reason but the rest are there in good quality. The reaction to Justin losing is also on there and captures all of the hype.

Yeah…next time we have a gaming session I can bring it with me. My brother should send me my Cooperation Cup DVD by then as well so we can check them both out. Speaking of which…let me know whats good with 3s because I’m more or less down to play whenever.

I wouldn’t take it personal. We could drive an hour to play 1 dude or that dude can drive an hour to play a bunch of us. I might as just drive an extra half hour to play at Arcade Legacy against a bunch of people. Unless Ft.Wayne comes out again then there’s no point in us driving out. We might as well just play online. I’ll keep you updated if something comes up. I got your number.
ah… EVO was good… cept for Daigo winning… again… Vangief was indeed the truth… MVC3 demo was sweet got to see Kiets and Kurasa show how much it is and is not like TvC… hated hearing Adam Sesslar speak… he’s great on TV where he has cards to read but when he doesn’t know what’s going on in the game and S-Kill has to explain stuff to him it kills the whole commentary
IMO the best match of EVO was Mike Ross vs. Gamerbee… i think the whole of america’s fighter fiend spirit was being channeled into Mike Ross during that last round
check it out i had an idea… stop me if this has been done before… what about a two day tournament with 2 separate days… like one at the beginning of the month and the 2nd day at the end of the month with completely repeated events and venue and returning competititors with winners getting seeds or something… like a deja vu tournament… good idea?
