With Skyrim and UMvC3 coming out soon I need to get some cash, so I’m throwing my stick up for sale. It’s a MadCatz SSF4 Tournament Edition S in great condition. I picked it up a while ago intending to learn on it, but its just not worth the effort to me. Pad is home. PM if interested.

What consoles is that game even on. I have only played on dreamcast and arcade
I have it as Darkstalkers 3 on PS1. I think it translates as Vampire Savior with the bonus characters. I have Pyron, Bishamon, etc.
There’s a JP Darkstalkers collection for PS2. That has the closest thing to arcade Vampire Savior. We have 2 VS boards at AL, and we play on Superguns and GGPO’s FBA emu when we’re playing at people’s houses. I don’t think the PS1 version is worth playing, but i’m not 100% on why it’s a bad port…just that i’ve heard it.
GGPO is an ok learning tool, but a lot of players on there have bad habits and strategies that only work well on GGPO. If you guys can get a local scene going up there in Indy, that would be phenomenal. Check Dustloop’s VS section for some good info on system mechanics/character breakdown, and feel free to ask any questions in our Cincinnati thread if you need help/ideas.
pfft… i’ve always seen VS and DS played but i’ve never touched it… it’s always looked pretty cool so i’ll give it a go on monday… and to answer the question on what games the Tilt vs AL gauntlet will cover… it’s certainly not VS… we’d be free or atleast on sale… no we’re gonna do a 5v5 gauntlet in 5 seperate games… as of now those games are AE, 3S, ST, MvC3, and MK9… as far as im concerned the playing field between our two parties is fairly even in each game so choose we gotta choose our reps carefully

I’d be down for learning VS. I don’t know that I can commit much time to it, but I’ll play it.
Maybe our next T3 should decide these reps. We’re due for our next one in a month or so, I believe.
