Now that I have a less accessable pad for gatherings I imagine that I’ll be coming to indy more ofter, though I still intend to have ppl to muncie.

With SSFIV and T6 being so big at majors, yeah, I think at least Top 5 should get $$ but it should come from sponsorship cash if possible, not adjust the 70/20/10 split. I think 60/30/10 makes more sense honestly but I think it’s way too late to change that since it’s so established
I was watching the iplaywinner stream last night and Dudley doesn’t look nearly as strong as people have been suggesting. Not that he looks bad or anything, and obviously there will be more things discovered and perfected after the game comes out, but he didn’t seem overwhelmingly strong at all. Ibuki and T. Hawk looked really good, and I don’t know why people are saying Hakan is weak because he looked fully capable of competing as well just from the little bit that Seth Killian was using him. I think people just don’t know how to use him yet and are giving too much credit to that one video of Justin Wong saying he sucks when he wasn’t even bothering to oil up.

I’ve been messing around with SF4 this week, the first time I’ve put any time into the game for a while. Trying to get some achievements, but no way am I getting to 1000. Those hard trials are just too much for someone with average at best execution skills such as myself.

we definitely should still have the qualifiers… it’s the most logical way to get our best players on the team… i’ll be attending the qualifier and Powerup itself so i’m in all the way, i’ll also lay plans together with whoever else is going or (given i make the team) whoever is on the team with me… are the quals set for May 1st still?..

The quals will be the week after MWC that is if we have a place to have them. Some people had issues with it being so close to the release date.

It’s true. I think that I am going to stay with the fort wayne crew in Chicago at a friend’s house. Free is much better than not free. I’m still driving up on Friday and leaving sometime Sunday so if anybody needs a ride though Indianapolis I can probably do that. But I am no longer in charge of housing anymore.
i’m sure hakan will at least be playable. dudley just looks beast mode as fuck on paper. i thought it was all just hype til i saw he could combo RH off of the overhead. good lows, fast overhead, and the fast overhead combos into whatever you want it to (forward RH > standing RH > ex MGB > ultra or whatever else you wanna do)… like i said, on paper it sounds crazy. especially considering he does SF4 damage when everyone else has been toned down. i mean… i’m not really bitching, because i think it’s awesome that an actual interesting character with a cool design is good, just noticing that he seems real good.
Just popping in to drop some news. After I move back there will be a brief spot where I won’t have the house to myself and thus won’t be able to host anything but after that I’ll have the entire house to myself so I’ll be able to hold weekly gatherings. Arcade 3s sound good to anyone?
I’d be willing to drive up some weekends in the summer just to play some good ol’ 3s with the gang.

I can have about 4 setups going at my new place and easily host 10-12 ppl.
Also, I have free access to large room above a downtown bar in Muncie. We could hold gatherings or tourneys there, but it would have to be 21 and older only : / im looking into getting around that issue (mabey if I issue wristbands we can get around it)

But I am trying to assure that we are still going to have a place to run qualifiers before MWC here in Muncie.
Honestly how many of the ppl who were coming to my house were underage.
most of you at least look 21 and so long as you dont go try to buy beer as an underage person there shouldnt be any trouble.

Is the skate part not an option anymore? I remember there being a couple of Ft. Wayne players that were under 21. To save space we could have it just a qualifer session instead of having a bunch of people show up. There won’t be more than a dozen people trying out for it.
