It doesn’t matter if they want to run it back or not. You follow the bloody rotation like an adult. We’ve all been there, you lose and you want to run it back, but you get up and let the next dude play because you’re not some infant that can’t wait in line. If you tried that kind of crap back in the old days you got your ass kicked, a practice that I think should still be around. The point is, you win, you stay; you lose, you get back in line. If you want to keep playing then level your shit up and get that streak going.
Heheh, we had rotations at Arsenal? The times I went it was just people playing for as long as they wanted until they got bored. I do hope that rotations are in effect when I get back to Arsenal some day. People need to be a little more mature but you can’t really hold it against them if that’s their station.
Hey, question for you guys. Is there anyone around here that does/knows how to do modding work on sticks? I tried to dual-mod my TE stick, and was sent the wrong type of board to do it. Tried to solder the connections together, and made a big mess out of my PCB. Pretty sure it can be saved, but I don’t have the requisite skills needed. Unfortunately I won’t be at Arsenal on Wednesday due to work, but I’m a pretty patient guy, just would rather not have a $150 brick sitting in my room forever.
Depends on the situation, how many people are waiting on the game, etc. I usually just play 2/3 or something and look around and ask if anyone else wants to get on. If no one takes you up on it then by all means keep playing, but just be aware of other people that might want to get in.
For BB/GG/AH3/etc it’s usually not a big deal since we rarely have more than 2 or 3 people playing and it’s easy to let people play a bunch of sets in a row, but with something more popular like Marvel or Street Fighter a set rotation is more reliable. Generally you can just tap someone on the shoulder and ask to get in next and it’s no big deal
If I have to bring my own setup and allow only certain people who can accept and follow a rotation than so be it…
Well Rotation is fine in my books, I have no problem letting others get games if they want it, though I may not move from my chair 
But bringing your own setup does sound ideal, since you can control what goes on there at any given time. Though I’m sure if you let both players know, and make sure they know that you want to play, then they should agree, I havent seen anyone who hasn’t done that. The running it back thing though I’ve seen it a couple of times.
Regardless, I follow rotation. If I lose the best 2/3, then I will let others play, but if no one doesn’t take the turn, then repeat the best 2/3 till someone does. And I agree with Indy…Level your game up and rack up the win streak, period.
I’m a fan of the Monday-Friday system, I feel it lets a wider variety of players show up by pairing a weekday with a weekend. That said is there anything more we can do to make sure we get the extra space on Friday?
2/3 is fine, especially when it’s that crowded. I’m guilty of hogging Marvel and BB, so I apologize. Make sure you say “Ray, I just saw you get blown up. I’d like to play that guy” and I’ll move

Arsenal on Mondays is the only day that works for me for a few months.
