Anyone play Marvel on 360 that’s willing to help me not suck at the Dante matchup? I’m getting blown up by teleport>S of all things…
Rob (maadhun) has a pretty good Dante. If you ask him, he’d probably give you some games on Monday. Silverhydra has a good one too, but I think he went back to Lafayette for school. No other local Dante players are coming to mind, sorry if I’m forgetting someone.
I need to level up my marvel game. I’m honestly just mashing and hoping for the best most of the time.
Currently using Akuma in 3s. I might try and go back to Q or give Hugo a shot. No longer enjoying Remy, and I realized Urien was beyond my scope currently.
i’ll be at the arsenal tomorrow probably around 6pm… I talked to Gmac, Neil (Phozee) and Marcus and they’re all gonna be there too … i’m hoping we all get there soon enough to keep dibs on the bigger room…

moved a few months ago for a job at medical company. unpacked my xbox last night just to check out 3SOE. you still ps3 only?
Wow… So I d/led 3SO last night and I started trying to do trials and stuff… This game is so foreign… I’ve decided I’m not going to treat it like Street Fighter at all and I’m just going to not call it Street Fighter… I’ll think of it as something else because I feel like everything I learned about footsies and zoning from ST is rendered mute by Parrying (which is an awesome mechanic but even after spending two hours trying to do the basic parry trials I fail miserably)…
I play Dante (though I don’t do a lot of teleport S) I’ll be at the Arsenal this evening, pending no caveats. I’ll have a 360 setup, but only one stick (for meeeeee)
A friend of mine also runs Deadpool (annoying as hell Deadpool) so he can give you some pointers too.
If my other friends show up, they’ll be at least four 360 MAHV3L players there. I don’t know your real name, so just ask for Ray when you arrive.
You’ll get parrying down pat pretty easily…it’s knowing when and where to do it that’s fun to learn. From what I’ve read, the 360 version is the best, and has the best players.
I’d love to dl this game, and learn to play it on a Hitbox. That’d be gdlk. This game seems like it would be amazingly intuitive on it.

Shoutout to Kyle for being gdlk and bringing tons of sticks/accessories for everyone, and owning all things BlazBlue related (I finally got to play as Platinum!!! yay!!)

I’m just chilllin on mvc3 man…Waiting for UMVC3, so I can have that fighting spirit, going all out kinda war battle lol…ggs, and nice Dante. For some reason I struggle against Dante and zero…lol
